Description

Take the first step into long-range with an optic that helps you go the distance with a ton of features. Featuring a 5-25x mag range built into a 34mm tube for a massive amount of turret travel (85 MOA / 25 MRAD max elevation/windage), the Venom also includes our RevStop Zero System for a fast, easy, reliable return to zero. The First Focal Plane EBR-7C reticle gives you accurate holds at any magnification, and an included throw lever allows for fast transitions between magnifications. 1. While firmly holding the turret knob, loosen and remove the turret cap and turret dial using the included tool. DO NOT allow the turret to rotate. 2. Push ring down until seated, then rotate the ring clockwise until it stops. 3. Reinstall the dial, lining up the “0” mark with the reference line on the scope body. 4. Reinstall the center turret cap. Note: Installing the RevStop ring is recommended, but not required to operate the scope. The elevation turret can still be indexed to zero after sight-in even if the RevStop ring is not installed. Your scope uses a fast-focus eyepiece designed to quickly and easily adjust the focus on the scope’s reticle. To adjust the reticle focus: 1. Look through the scope at a blank white wall or at the sky. 2. Turn focus knob fully counterclockwise. 3. Turn the eyepiece focus knob inward until the reticle image is as crisp as possible. The magnification adjustment is used to change the magnification level, or “power,” of the riflescope— adjusting from low to high magnification depending on your preference. 1. Rotate the indicator bar to the desired magnification. Each adjustment or “click” moves the point of impact either 1/4 MOA or .10 MRAD. 1/4 MOA closely corresponds to ¼” at 100 yards, or 3 cm at 100 m; .10 MRAD is equal to .36” at 100 yards, or 1 cm at 100 m. 1. Following the directional arrows, turn the dials in the direction you wish the point of impact to go. Your scope has an adjustable objective lens. This adjustment dial is marked with approximate yardages and should be matched to the target’s distance. Final focus setting should be checked by moving your head back and forth while looking through the scope for any shift of the reticle on the target (parallax). If you observe shift, the dial should be adjusted slightly until removed. Once correctly set for your target's distance, errors due to parallax will be eliminated. • Awesome deal and value
Style: 5-25x56 - EBR-7C (MRAD)
This is such a great scope for the shooting I do In NRL22 competition. The clarity is great and the side parallax adjustment makes keeping the target clear fast and simple. The amount of elevation travel with a 20-30 MOA slant base allows zeroing to some very long ranges with standard velocity 22LR ammunition. The reticle is great for either dialing range changes or using hold over/under in elevation. The super fine center dot allows zeroing perfection in any caliber and has held zero for me from 22LR- 338 Win mag The turrets are clearly marked and have very positive felt click adjustments, full range from top to bottom and left to right. After setting my zero I have never had a problem returning to zero and accuracy is always spot on. I have zeros from 35-200 yds in 5 yd increments and they are always consistent on the dial with the same lots of ammo. The scope package includes a throw lever which is a great addition when changing magnification frequently. The 3 inch sun shade helps prevent glare in early morning and evening shooting. Also comes with zero stop, scope covers, lense cloth, Allen wrenches and instruction books. These scopes are a super value for the money. I have never had a problem with any Vortex scope I own so I can’t vouch for their warranty but have heard nothing but positive comments on their customer service and support. Will always recommend Vortex products. ... show more

  • Great budget friendly scope!
Style: 3-15x44 - EBR-7C (MRAD)
This isn't the lightest scope out there, but it is a great scope for the money. I have put this scope on 4 rifles, and I have loved the clarity of the glass and the function of the scope. All of my Vortex scopes have had clear glass, they are very durable, and I love the amount of adjustment these FFP scopes offer. Most of the rifles they are on are mostly used for range shooting, but I'm sure they would perform well for hunting too. ... show more

  • Great scope
Style: 3-15x44 - EBR-7C (MRAD)
The Vortex Venom FFP is an outstanding entry-point for anyone looking to get into long-range precision shooting without the massive price tag of a professional competition optic. The 34mm tube provides a generous amount of adjustment travel, which is essential when you start stretching out toward 1,000 yards. I found the glass clarity to be surprisingly sharp even at the higher end of the 25x magnification, with very little distortion around the edges. The EBR-7C reticle is well-designed and remains proportional to the target as you zoom, making holdovers and ranging much more intuitive. The RevStop Zero System is a huge plus, as it allows for a quick and reliable return to zero after you’ve been dialing for different distances. The included throw lever is a nice touch and makes magnification changes smooth and fast, which is helpful during timed stages or dynamic shooting. While the scope is on the heavier side, that weight contributes to a very solid and durable feel that can clearly handle heavy recoil. The turrets have a tactile and audible click that gives you plenty of confidence when making adjustments in the field. It’s a versatile, high-performing piece of glass that offers incredible value for both target shooters and hunters alike. ... show more

Very nice scope. Clear glass, strong turret controls. Excellent reticle.

  • Very good for the price.
Style: 3-15x44 - EBR-7C (MRAD)
So far so good. Glass is clear, turrets are much more tactile than I’d thought. Not squishy like the diamondback tactical. The eyebox is very nice and black ring is very thin. We’ll see how durable it is over time but overall this is a very good optic for only $350-ish price range. The only drawback is no illumination but if you want that just get a strike eagle for a little extra money. ... show more

  • Good zoom. Clear glass.
Style: 5-25x56 - EBR-7C (MOA)
Great scope. Get heavy mounts for it. If you can’t hit what you’re aiming at with this, it’s not the scope. My kids are ringers with this on my rifle.
