The fleece lining is soft against the skin and actually feels warm the moment you pull it on, even on those windy mornings walking the dog or heading out for a ride. It blocks the cold air way better than a regular scarf or beanie combo, and the water-resistant outer layer handled light snow and drizzle without soaking through. What I like most is how breathable it stays – I wore it on a pretty active bike commute in 25°F weather and never felt like my face was in a sweaty sauna, which happens with a lot of thicker masks. The stretch is perfect; it fits snug but doesn’t squeeze your head, and I can pull it down as a neck gaiter when I get too warm or flip it up quickly when the wind picks up again. My husband works outside and the winter can get brutal, he absolutely says these ski masks help protect his face from the cold. Of course they don’t offer 100% warmth, no ski mask does, especially with this Texas weather. However he does enjoy how they actually help. They are a great quality, fleece lined and a breeze to clean. Not only are they great at providing warmth, they’re comfortable and fit his head just right. Overall no complaints, very great value for your money.

This is a GREAT thermal mask in every way except size. The fit is not universal unfortunately. This mask did not fit me because I have a small head for an adult. So, my eyes, nose, and mouth don’t end up in the right place to keep out wind. It’s just too large. So, I can’t give it 5 stars even though I found that it fit my husband very well. So, I had my husband put it on for these photos. He has a large head. I measured around his forehead (where you would measure for fitting a hat). He is 23” around. That translates to 7 and 3/8 size, or size large in a hat. He said that the hat feels like the perfect size on him. He said that a person with an XL head would be comforatable in it as well. You can see the extra material on his forehead. He has a good sized nose (not too big though!😂)and the mask fits well there too. He said that he likes that it has a breathable material on the mouth area. And when he spoke to me, his voice was not muffled because the material is more thin on the mouth but it still keeps the warm air in enough. The material is soft, stretchable, and very cozy and comfortable. You can see in both photos that the mask falls just past the neck in length. This is a great thermal mask for being at cold sport events, working outside, and even for hiking or sleeping in a tent at night. I love it! If only they had the right size for me as well!

The fleece lining is soft against the skin, and it doesn’t irritate even after hours of wear. It’s warm enough for sub-zero temps but breathable enough to prevent overheating. Great balance for skiing or daily winter walks!

This balaclava is a great solution to help prevent steamed up glasses. It fits well and covers the nose as needed. It’s not expensive and works wonderful as a base layer. I was expecting something a bit thicker, longer, and warmer based on the picture in the listing though. The material feels like fleece, but the tag says it’s cotton. It’s roughly the thickness of a sweatshirt. It doesn’t really come down very far around the neck. I gave it 4 stars since it’s exactly what’s needed as an effective base layer in bad weather without spending a lot of money. With a separate hat and neck gaiter this becomes a tremendous weather protector for comfort and health. … and my glasses don’t fog up!
