I bought nine of these over the course of a month to fulfill my dream of having a library, and I couldn’t be happier. They hold my books. I have room for more. Note: when you buy the two-pack they are shipped in individual boxes. This is the only purchase I’ve made through Amazon where deliveries weren’t confirmed with an email, so keep an eye out. They all arrived earlier than expected by a day or so. They’re well protected in their packaging (lots of styrofoam) so even if the boxes themselves got a little wet or banged up the shelves inside are still immaculate. Of the nine, one bookshelf side didn’t have a pair of holes punched through all the way and I had to drill through myself. One of the backings had an extra set of holes. These were the only two defects I encountered and neither were major. 10/10 will buy again. ... show more

Impressive! I was born in the early 50's so between teenage years, apartments, dorm rooms & barracks I've assembled quite a few "do-it-yourself" shelves, desks, cabinets, etc. This one is by far the BEST I've ever encountered. Well designed, well-engineered, a LOT of attention to detail. Usually, cabinets with backs that are basically cardboard are held in with small nails (brads) that easily detach when you push a book or cd in too far. This one does not. While the back is cardboard-y, it slides into a groove, is screwed in and further secured with 36 wedges - apparently someone was listening to Customer complaints and did a great job addressing it. The shelves are fixed (not adjustable) but VERY easy to assemble, instructions are clear (you'll need to pay attention when assembling board "C"), inexpensive, and well packaged (and won't hurt your back lifting the box). Highly recommend, I think you'll be pleased - I am, I'm buying 3 more! ... show more

For the cost of 2 bookshelves, these are pretty great. They’re lightweight and seem flimsy but are pretty sturdy! They are definitely particle board with that cardboard backing but it doesn’t LOOK cheap, if you get what I mean. The instructions were super easy to follow as well. I upgraded to these from a cubby shelf because I am a book collector (special editions are weakness) so I needed a decent amount of space and this gives it. Still have room to grow my collection as well 😈 I didn’t think to take a picture before hand so enjoy my cringy boyfriend posing with my trophy shelf in his biker gear 🤣🥲 ... show more

I actually like my new bookshelf. I had two, three bookshelves. My goal was to downside to one larger one for my bedroom. I tried of trying to spend a lot of money on stuff. The price was right. This was definitely a perfect bookshelf my son wanted it for his stuff all his protein shakes and everything that he keeps in his room along with other stuff definitely a great Buy I do believe I did purchase the six tier one that shows but I think it was a five tier I could actually look again when I have access to my son's room but I think he had wood to my attention but other than that this is great piece of furniture if this is what you're looking for matches his color themes in his room ... show more

Two stars since it looks like a nice piece of furniture. I researched shelves for days, trying to find the right size. Every dimension was important. My binders for the shelves were 11.5”, and the diagram says the shelves are 11.8” apart . They are not even 11.5”. The binders do not fit on any shelf, and some are not even close. Some of the distances are different than the others. Very misleading. I am keeping the product, since we already put it together, but it is a huge inconvenience, and an added expense we could’ve done without. ... show more
