Very cute small barrel bag. I included photos next to a standard scissor for size reference. The material is good quality and the embossed stitching looks great against the black leather. My favorite part of the back is the grey metal chain attachments to the handles. Length wise, the straps really are not 'shoulder' length, they are much shorter, like baguette length, so the bag will lie under your arm against your chest. Usually bags of this handle length are flatter to make it more comfortable to fit under your arm, so I plan to wear it at my elbow. Another positive is that the interior is deceptively spacious. I fit a wallet, phone, sunglasses and small makeup bag in and could easily zip it. The only downside is that the bag doesn't have an inside pocket to stick chapstick or a key into, but other than that, style wise its a great bag.

The Von Dutch Barrel Bag in Metallic Brown has a really nice balance between classic Y2K styling and something that still feels wearable beyond just a trend-driven look. The metallic finish gives it that early 2000s vibe, but the shade itself is much more versatile than I expected. Instead of reading as a traditional warm brown, it leans more charcoal brown with a darker metallic finish that works well with a lot of different outfits without feeling overly flashy. One of the first things I noticed was how well made the bag feels overall. The vegan leather has a sturdy, premium feel to it, and the hardware feels heavy-duty without making the bag overly heavy. I especially like the darker rhodium-style colored hardware against the metallic finish because it gives the bag a slightly edgier look while still keeping it neutral enough for everyday styling. The zipper and straps both feel secure and durable, and the Von Dutch logo across the front adds a recognizable detail without overpowering the design. The barrel shape is probably my favorite part of the bag. It stays compact and lightweight, but it still holds more than it initially looks like it would. I can comfortably fit my phone, wallet, keys, makeup, and other daily essentials without the bag feeling bulky or oversized. The strap length also feels very well proportioned for shoulder wear, which made it sit comfortably without feeling too short or awkward. The only real challenge for me was honestly choosing which version of the bag I wanted because I liked so many of the styles and color options. That usually is not the case for me with purses since I normally narrow down favorites pretty quickly. This style also pairs easily with a wide range of outfits, from casual jeans to more dressed-up pants and blouses. While it sits more in the mid-range price category for handbags, the materials, construction, hardware, and overall design make it feel thoughtfully made and substantial in person.

This bag is cuter than anticipated. The metallic pink really pops as it glistens against the light. - While it is structured, it is very soft to touch. - the chain is rose pink and goes perfectly with the metallic pink. Love all the little details they put into this fun bag. - its 9.5" long with a diameter of 4.5. It can hold a good amount but if you are bag stuffer, this will be too small for you - the shoulder strap is 8 inches, so for me it tucks right under your arm, if you want to carry it that way but I would just hold it in your hands. I took one star off because considering how much this bag costs and all the hoopla about counterfeit, I would think they would package this differently. It was wrapped in a plastic bag stuffed into a brown amazon paper bag. Just sayin... Happy going out looking delish!

Gorgeous Von Dutch shoulder bag! Arrived nicely packed and shipped quickly too. Matches the online photos and description of the bag. Fun color inside and out. The size is perfect in my opinion, reminds me of a regular sized tote bag, and is comfortable to wear or hold. No funky smells, but definitely smell’s somewhat leathery and new. The bag is a neat shiny material giving it a very young and modern appearance. I was able to fit my wallet, iPhone 17 Pro Max, keys and other items securely and still had some room to fit more if I wanted too. The bag came in its own brand mesh bag which was nice to protect it during shipping and to keep and place inside when not using. Definitely familiar with the brand, and still think it’s worth its value. Would highly recommend to any young woman or teen.

I am in awe of this bag!! It’s absolutely stunning! I have loved Von Dutch since the year 2000! So when I saw this pretty bag, I wanted it. It’s pretty on my phone, but looks even better in person. I love the design and colors, it’s a good size to hold my daily carry on items, and I like the barrel shape too. The purse feels like it’s made very well, typical Von Dutch style. The leopard and pink look good together. I like that there is a pocket inside too. It feels like it’s pretty durable and will hold up over time. If you’re looking for a super cute, nostalgic bag, this is the one to get! I like how it’s lightweight, can be used for a daily purse, and the inside material is really soft so it won’t scratch my iPhone screen. It’s such a lovely purse and needless to say…I definitely recommend buying this one! I love it!!
