This is a review of the standard size that measures 11.25'' X 4.3'' X 9''. I love this purse. I bought it more than 2 years ago and have been using it every single day. I've grown so accustomed to having all the zippered pockets that I'm not happy with any other purse that doesn't have them. Even the side pockets are zippered. Other purses are also heavier (this is made of nylon) and don't seem to have the "stuffability" that this one does. I've dragged this purse all over the world. It has survived numerous airport security scanners, been crammed into lockers at amusement parks, tossed on the floor of cars, and even used as a pillow when necessary. The ability to zip everything up ensures that nothing falls out, which is especially nice when going through airport security scanners. The main compartment is quite spacious and includes one zippered pocket and two non-zipper pockets, each about 4" wide and 5" deep. I’ve managed to fit folding umbrellas, rollable hats, my husband’s keys and wallet, and many other items into it, and it just seems to expand to accommodate everything. Made of lightweight nylon, it's easy to carry and may be water-resistant, though not waterproof. I usually use this purse as a shoulder or crossbody bag, which leaves my hands completely free and the purse is easy to access when wearing it that way. The strap is wide and adjustable and doesn't hurt my shoulder. Despite all the use, nothing on this purse has ever fallen apart. All that being said, the style isn't the greatest because I've noticed that it looks somewhat like a tote bag in photos but I haven't found anything more stylish that has the space and compartments that this one has. ... show more

The VOLGANIK ROCK Crossbody Purse I purchased (large, btw) is perfect for me! I love having just one large main compartment with a zipper area to "hide" small items. I could do without the interior pockets. For me, those tend to bow out and make it harder to stow items in that nice large compartment. Four outside zippered pockets are great! Two are small enough to hold a pill bottle in one and a change purse in the other, with a larger pocket behind them that fits my cell phone, a notepad and pen, and a bit more. The back pocket holds my keys perfectly and the two zippered side pockets hold other small items: all without fear of them falling out when I drop my purse and it lands upside down. Love the strap which is a little "dressier" than the usual gym-bag woven strap that comes with so many purses in this style/price range. The purse holds up quite well. I've had this one for several months and am still quite happy with it. I've owned this purse before, but opted to get something locally to replace it. I never found a purse here that fit my needs quite as well, so this is my second purchase of this purchase. Highly recommended. ... show more

I love this purse. Even with all the things I carry, it is so lightweight. The strap is wide width, it doesn't cut into my shoulder and it evens the load. This purse is machine washable. I haven't washed it yet, however, it will be easy to just throw in with a load of laundry. I bought the teal color. I really like it but I am thinking I should have ordered a lighter color for summer. I like purses with compartments. This one has just the right number and sizes of compartments. At first glance I was very disappointed when I received this purse. Those little pockets although stylish, but hardly useful. However, I found even though my phone did not go all the way in, it is easily accessible with part of it sticking out. (not a good idea, if you worry about someone may swipe it. I always wear my handbag with this side close to my body.) I can put all my receipts in the other small pocket, my ear buds in the tiny side pocket. I clip my sunglasses case to the belt. My wallet went to the side pocket with a zipper safely tucked in. Hey, what else does a girl need? If I want to, I can put my makeups in the middle pocket. So, Functional or not? I ordered the large size to accommodate my iPad w/keyboard and calendar, book, water etc. When I don’t want to carry all that I unload and just carry essentials. It has zippers and compartments for everything so it will be easy to keep organized. Love it.
