Pretty quick but needs to be brushless tires need swapped you can use 1/10 drift or drag slicks, the shocks I chose are traxxas 1/18 trx18m aluminum shocks, brushless system was like $50 and all of it from Amazon its awesome now

The media could not be loaded. *UPDATE* So the return for this through Amazon is anything but easy. Since this ships with lithium batteries that are considered Hazmat (UN3491), these CANNOT be shipped back to Amazon per the return policies. I messaged the Amazon support team mentioning this, they reviewed, and told me that they acknowledged the item couldn't be returned per their policies and advised me to not ship the item back. One month later, and now I'm receiving an email from Amazon telling me that I need to ship the item back (or else I'll be charged again) and the original message I had with the support team is nowhere to be found in the message center. I was hesitant against rating this 1 star, but this has put the final nail in the coffin. AVOID THIS ITEM AT ALL COSTS OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENSES OF THE POOR DECISION THAT IS BUYING THIS DEPLORABLE EXCUSE FOR A "HOBBY" R/C CAR. So these cars were okay for the first trip out, but now have consistent issues. I bought 2 of these for nephews and there are a multitude of issues with these cars. 1.) One car came with batteries that had dead cells. Could not be charged at all, but I was lucky enough both cars shipped with 2 batteries, so I was at least able to put a battery in each until the replacements arrived. 2.) The control unit is EXTREMELY delicate and cannot handle dirt AT ALL. Once of the cars even had it's control unit detach from the chassis because the glue wore out straight out of the box. In dry conditions, the dust from our local baseball field got inside the circuit board and completely shorted out the computer. The only saving grace was that we got a replacement car because they could not just ship replacement batteries. It's also extremely time sensitive and will shut off after 20 seconds of inactivity, so powering it on before putting the body back on is out of the question. 3.) On/Off switch was easily knocked in and could only be turned on using one of the body pins. This happened to ALL 3 control units we ended up getting (in the original purchased cars and the replacement). Upon closer inspection I discovered it was "secured" with hot glue in the control box. 4.) The brand new replacement car lost it's steering radius after the first trip out and has no fix. I've attempted switching the control unit (no help), replaced the brace that holds it in (no help), lubricated all ball joints in the steering assembly (no help), and even replaced steering linkage components (no help). 5.) DO NOT LEAVE THE CHARGERS UNATTENDED. PERIOD. I had the batteries plugged into the chargers at my desk while I was working at home, 15 minutes into the charge I smelled burning plastic, looked over and saw that one of the chargers had melted. Closer inspection showed that they sent 8.4V chargers for 7.4 volt batteries. All in all, these cars did not live up to the descriptions and product videos displayed. If they were left on the road they might be okay, but they do not handle off road terrain well as the internal electronics are not protected well enough to last, even with rigorous cleaning and care. ... show more

I thought this car was so cool and for a good deal! The style and the fact that you can drive it great on the road AND on carpet was just amazing to me. My son was driving it around inside the living room and the car hit the couch on one of the back tires. A piece broke off and then it couldn't but put properly back together. I wish we can replace that one piece. I would happily buy it to get it fixed. ... show more

Very stylish and good looking car for adults. Me and my daughter use this RC car on the community street and lot of kids were amazed at the looks. As advertised, it runs at a very high speed and the battery lasts atleast 15- 18 mins. The battery is already charged for the first time use and easy to drive. The RC car can been drive on any surface, as it has good springs on the bottom. My only concern is the plastic top of the car which could have been made with a better quality. But overall I like the car and it's fun driving all around. Be cautious when you bump the RC car against any person or animal, it hurts very badly. ... show more

do not run through water it is not as waterproof as amazon says i now have to go in and dry out the car and thankfully I know how to fix rc car motors so its not a problem.
