  • NO OTHER BRAND CAN COMPARE- FOR TEACHERS!
Size: 0.94" Width Style: 6 rolls
You get what you pay for with blue tape... this is the best for hanging pictures and such in the classroom and having no residue when taking down work. We often recycle pieces every several weeks to save on consumption but after buying so many different brands to try to say on budgeting for tape and classroom supplies, we've learned that this is the best value. Honestly... who likes walking into their classroom in the morning to find all the work they put up on the floor... we've had so many issues with other brands. Skip the headache and purchase Scotch Blue Original. Wish they had teacher sales! ... show more

  • Fraud - bad knockoff
Size: 0.94" Width Style: 6 rolls
This is what I got. Obviously not the original. Even worse, it can only stick to itself - not to any other surface. Useless fraud.

  • Not great
Size: 0.94" Width Style: 6 rolls
I thought I would use what I was told an excellent painters tape. I used a latex paint in my kitchen and taped off the chair rails, baseboard and cabinets. I painted the area and waited a full day for the paint to dry. I then proceeded to remove the tape and what a disappointment when I found more than half the area had paint under the tape where it was applied. I now have hours of repair to make the kitchen look presentable. Please, if you found this helpful, click the helpful button. ... show more

  • Great tape for painting--and has other uses
This blue tape is terrific. I use it all the time. Have used it for 15 years. I love it. Nowadays there are a variety of painters' masking tapes available. Many are blue. You'll also find green, brown, tan, yellow, orange, etc. The specialty blue tapes usually have an overprint on them so you can tell them apart. I've used most of them. They all have their uses. But this "original" blue tape is the one that's on my workbench, in tool boxes, and even in my kitchen. Why kitchen? Because as a bonus, this tape makes great labels on leftover containers. With a couple inches of blue tape and a Sharpie, you'll never again wonder how old is that leftover container. You'll know. Some lids have gone through the dishwasher with blue tape labels, and the blue tape stayed on even then. It still peeled off easily. Pictures show this blue tape in action while painting a door with Modern Masters 275270 Satin Front Door Paint, 1 quart, Calm . The tape stuck well. Very little paint leaked under the tape edge. The tape removed easily. Just make sure the paint is cured enough to withstand the tape removal. This blue tape made my home paint jobs easier for years. That's why I'm happy to review it today, just because I love it. I hope you find this helpful. ... show more

  • It does exactly what blue painters tape is supposed to do.
Size: 0.94" Width Style: 9 rolls
What can I say? It's than it's blue painter's tape and it's been doing what blue painters tape does ever since there was blue painters tape. If you're a professional painter you know what it does and it's limitations. If you're someone who thinks they're a painter and using this will give then a professional job like for cutting in sharp lines STOP!! There are other tape products that are better suited. Do your research and before using it know what this stuff can do, but more importantly it's limitations and what it can not do. So do your research and you won't be using this for something it's not meant for and end up posting a bad review with pictures of your disaster that professionals will shake their heads and laugh at. ... show more

  • It's junk
Size: 0.94" Width Style: 1 roll
I used it on my guitar to keep colors separated. It bled under the tape so badly I now have to re sand the entire guitar. That's hours of fricking work because of cheap junk tape. I haven't been this pissed in a very long time. It took me days to figure out the pattern then several hours of taping it out just to have it bleed under the tape. I thought 3m was supposed to be a good name. This was probably sitting in a box for months and months which is why it's useless. ... show more

  • Best tape I've found
Size: 0.94" Width Style: 6 rolls
I have used a variety of painter's tapes and ScotchBlue is, by far, my favorite. Some other brands adhere too tightly to the roll, making the outside of the tape tacky in texture. Other brands have poor adhesion, allowing paint to bleed into areas it does not belong. Duck painter's tape comes to mind as one of my least favorites. It just doesn't grip to the wall and repeatedly curls and falls off. I recently did a couple painting projects around my home and relied on my ScotchBlue. I made lines in my son's room and the tape helped to keep the edges crisp and it peeled off neatly when removed. I also used it to hold a decal on a wall as I stippled and was able to remove the decal and place it on various spots of the wall with the same pieces of tape. The tape has such great adhesion, without being overly tacky, so it sticks multiple times. Definitely a great choice for some home improvement projects. ... show more

  • Perfect Adhesion and Note Taking Surface
Size: 0.94" Width Style: 1 roll
This is by far the best painter's tape you can get. Be careful that 3M also makes another one under a slightly different name that they have their logo embossed on and doesn't take ink well for note writing. That other stuff doesn't stick very well at all. This has the perfect degree of adhesion where it doesn't come off unless you specifically want to remove it. I use this all the time for a variety of purposes from writing notes on it to temporarily marking spots... and occasionally painting. ... show more
