Second time purchasing. I’m really impressed with the Amazon Basics Blue Painters Tape! It sticks well without leaving any residue behind and is perfect for creating clean, sharp paint lines. I’ve used it on a variety of surfaces, and it holds up perfectly while being easy to remove without damaging the paint underneath. The tape is durable, and I appreciate that it tears off cleanly without fraying. Overall, it’s a high-quality product at a great price. I've bought cheap painters tape before and I've always had problems with it shredding or ruining the surface that it was stuck to- so it was with great trepidation that I bought this large pack of Amazon brand tape. After painting my entire house I can honestly say this is just as good as the premium tape that I buy from Scotch, it sealed well, didn't ruin my surfaces, was easy to tear, and didn't shred on the roll. What else can you ask for?

I used this and 3M brand. Adhesion was exactly the same. I will say my husband had a hard time getting it to stick. I had no trouble with sticking or tearing like other folks mentioned in reviews. I have to believe those issues are user error. With that being said, just go to Lowes if you have the time and ability and get 3M brand. It is actually cheaper.

THIS DOES NOT STICK. IT STARTS COMING OFF ALMOST AS SOON AS YOU PUT IT ON - EVEN WITH EXTREME RUBBING ON IT! Go for the frog tape brand. It's the best. After realizing I wasted money because this tape is not going to stick, I asked my husband to get me the good stuff and now we are re-taping some areas before I spray. I have been painting the entire inside of our home and am about 3/4 of the way through. I've used many different brands. Some are good, some not so good. This one is THE WORST. The only reason I took a chance on it was because I was fooled by the reviews. For just a bit more money, you can get a really good brand that will work. Less stress, easier job. Good luck!

I use blue painters tape regularly at work. 3M is expensive, and I'm always trying other brands to see if they are as good, for a better price. The price on these was good, but unfortunately it doesn't do the job I need it to do.

I use a ton of painters tape to paint plaid or stripes on yardart. I’ve used scotch and frog tape in the past but decided to use the amazon version based on price. This version has been my favorite thus far. Crisp lines. Tape doesn’t stretch when ripping then giving me an angled line at the area of said rip. This tape stays nice and straight. Tips easily. Applies and removes easily. Crisp clean lines leafy at the end. I’m not going back to the other name brands after finding this one!
