These curtains are beautiful! We have them in three different rooms and they really brighten up the space! They are not light blocking but rather light filtering. If you have a really sunny spot or need some privacy I would think these would be perfect for your space! I’m not sure I would use them in a bedroom or any place that you really want to block out the light though! Love the off white color! excellent quality and lovely texture. Also, love the bronze grommets!!! Easy to hang. Hung them at night, and could not see into my home from the outside. I searched Amazon for hours to find light-filtering curtains made with a linen material, and non-silver grommets. No easy task! I was happy to find these panels and ordered them in “Natural” right away for 3 windows in my formal living room. For the largest window (pictured), I paired them with “stone-blue” colored panels from another brand—also linen and with bronze grommets! Winning!!! This “Natural” color is just perfect. It’s really hard to choose between beige, white, ivory, cream, natural, etc., when shopping for curtains! But I’m very happy with how these look. They are “warm” toned and go well with my home decor elements and even my wall paint (Putnam Ivory—Benjamin Moore). They are sheer enough that my beautiful yard won’t be blocked from sight, but they offer a bit of privacy. This window will eventually have 4 of these panels going all the way across the middle, and will be framed by the blue curtains on the swing-out rods at the sides. These curtains look great. We have light filtering pleated shades behind the curtains, so it still lets in a lot of light. If you are wanting less light, you would need to get blackout shades or cellular shades to use with these curtains, otherwise if will still be very bright. This is exactly what we wanted, so it is perfect and looks really nice. They were very easy to iron and hang well with a little deliberate placement. Great curtains for the price. ... show more
