I grabbed this remote to replace my voice remote my son broke. I appreciate that the instructions for set up were simple and detailed. I had no problems connecting it to my TV. It works just as good as my roku brand voice remote did. This was a good replacement. It does require 2 AAA batteries (not imcluded).

I got the remote in the hopes of just using one remote instead of using a TV remote and another one for the Roku. While the remote is similar to the Roku remote and feels slightly better in hand, it is unfortunately not compatible and doesn't pair with my Samsung TV. As a result, I still need to use two separate remotes to operate my TV.

It’s so good to have an extra on hand for this. We are constantly losing our remotes and have had to order replacements multiple times. Haven’t used this one yet but it looks just like our current one and I’m sure it will work fine. It is on deck for when we lose the next one, which is inevitable.
