I ordered the silver one and it's pretty sturdy (definitely won't last indefinitely, but at least a couple months if not a few years worth, which is more than I expect for an $8 tiara. It's also the perfect size for her. I don't know how there are so many pictures of adults wearing this. It is definitely child sized, the perfect size for my pre-school aged niece actually. This Tiara is beautiful to look at, and cost-wise for appearances it is a winner. Sadly that is where it ends. It is extremely uncomfortable to wear and the combs in the back dig in. I tried bending the band as much as I dared to try and release the pinching but had to stop as it felt that it might break. Definitely pretty, but just not something I could make work for me.
