And I can get the zipper up without calling the fire department. I have made two wetsuits last for well over forty years; the first was a used dive suit, orange inside, that was a good thickness for a congenitally thin person, that I mostly used for body surfing. The second was a New Zealand made suit, not very thick, that I was given when I turned fifty. It still exists, but I now have a lot more musculature through my chest and shoulders, and I think the wetsuit has shrunk, too. I was a little trepidacious about ordering this one, as some peoples' idea of a medium size could be just about anything. And when I hung it up, it looked too fat to me. What the heck, said I to myself, maybe I will float better and/or stay warmer. I was pleased and surprised to find out the suit is a perfect fit, at least insofar as I can tell, and it is quite warm--both warmer, and easier to put on, than my New Zealand suit, which mercilessly mashes my metacarpals when I try to get the sleeves on. I have needed a new wetsuit for a long time, and the purchase was occasioned by the acquisition of a paddleboard; I deal with a supposedly permanent illness that causes me to get cold easily, and I'll need a wetsuit with the paddleboard until I am proficient enough to not fall in the drink, as well as for surfing, if I ever find an activity partner to make the 75 mile drive out to the beach with me. The price is reasonable; heck yes, buy it if you want a wetsuit, and if you have only two arms, two legs, and one head. ... show more

It’s plenty thick enough for west coast water. The wetsuit is a great starter and doesn’t have all the fancy features like our other ones. It has worked out though for great protection from cool waters on the coast. Boogie boarding, body surfing, and surfing in the ocean has been enjoyable with the wetsuit on. Haven’t used it for and diving and probably won’t because it gets a bit colder in the depths. This suit does not have some other features like higher end wetsuits like I said earlier such as sealed seams, reenforced knee pads, hoodie, reenforced butt pad or any other features that surfing wetsuits might provide. It is very basic but very affordable and if it gets abused and roughed up…hey that’s what it’s for and it works for what I need. It is easy to don on and off. I’m 5’ 10” about 190 with muscular physique and I got the large. It feels like it’s perfect for my size. So far the wetsuit has worked out great for me and my needs. Like I said I’m really not worried how abused it gets but rather just having fun and protecting from cool water. ... show more
