I purchased these as an anchor for my sun screen on my patio. When there is a stronger breeze, it swings in and hits people in the back of the head that are sitting on the patio furniture. These hold well and go deep into the ground next to the concrete.

These bent rebar stakes arrived by the expected delivery date and were new and unopened. They will work to anchor the item I want to secure, but they are not 1/4 (.25) inch in diameter. Good metal stakes, but do not expect the strength or sturdiness of true rebar metal. These stakes will bend easily if using in hard or rocky soil. Lightweight metal good for most garden purposes but not heavy duty uses.

Using these to secure lower edge of chain link fence to keep Cocker Spaniel in the yard. So far have used approx. 60 of these in the perimeter fencing. They work great. At times while driving them in the ground hit a rock. They are strong enough to break thru rock and continue deep.
