Does not work in London or in Ireland as advertised. You won't know until you get to that country that the card is complete junk. By then you won't be able to return it. I bought this SIM for my 7-days trip in Portugal. The SIM I received is operated by the Spanish MVNO Fi Network, not to confused with Google Fi, that allows roaming in most European countries. Activation The package includes an easy to follow instructions. All you need is to fill out the form, make sure you correctly write down your date of arrival. And you'll receive a confirmation email within 24 hour. And insert the SIM to your phone, type in the PIN number of the SIM as prompted on your screen. And that's it, I was able to get coverage for my trip. The APN is automatic entered on my Pixel 5. Performance It's been good overall throughout my 7 stays in Portugal. Coverage is quite good. Speed fluctuates between 5mbps to 100mbps. It's definitely throttled in some congested areas, but I don't take it as a game stopper. However, despite I ordered the 14 days, 16GB SIM, the operator send me a data usage warning after I ran over 8GB of data. Overall, I think it's a good value for heavy data user like me. I purchased this for a one week stay in Northern Ireland at the end of December/early January. It arrived in time for my trip and I followed the instructions to register the sim. You don't know that it won't work until you are in country and have no way to call for tech support. I had to find a WiFi connection in order to make a call which defeats the purpose of the sim in the first place. I was moving around and didn't always have the WiFi from one day to the next. You are better off getting in country and going to the carriers store and signing up for a pay as you go and canceling it before you leave. It was an $18 lesson. ... show more

After registering the card and appropriate info (well in advanced), we arrived in Spain, but in card(iPhone), entered pin, and simm worked as promised. Vodafone's SIM coverage is excellent. But be careful of these pre-travel SIM cards that are Spain-issued like this one (you can tell these by the extra GB in Spain), because ongoing emails and texts, often technical, will be in Spanish, and renewal or inquiries are complicated. For questions about this particular card, you must email the issuer (who I think is located in Asia) and, per the instructions, wait up to 24 hours for an email reply. My advice: find out if there are telecom companies (like Vodafone, Orange, T-mobile, O2 in the UK) in your arrival airport or town, and get the SIM there, where they will load and test it and set up the related app (important) with your account. OR, select on Amazon a card issued for/from a country whose language you speak (such as UK for English). Don't forget, regardless of the primary country, they all have roaming throughout Europe. ... show more
