This is a waste of money! Bought a smart watch (a good quality somewhat expensive watch) for my 8 yr old son so we could contact each other, he can have access to emergency services if anything happened, and I could track his location. This allows him to go to his friends and the park by our house without me being so worried. Bought this SIM card so we could use all the features on the smart watch. They advertise no commitment plans with great service/coverage. When activating it requires bank account info for automatic monthly plan charges. Was fine with that and it automatically charged for the next month as well when I activated this card. Once activated the service doesn’t even work in most places. No internet, phone, etc. it’s basically a watch that can’t be set to the right time due to no service. I go in the app and cannot even set an alarm because there is no wireless connection. It worked with one bar in one place in my house. A lot of good that does! Can’t even set up WiFi without service on watch to send the signal from the app. Now I have to cancel this service and get a network like AT&T that actually has good service. Don’t even waste your money. Get a nano sim through a reliable service carrier and save yourself the trouble that comes with these speed talk cards. ... show more

At first I thought everything was okay with this card but I did not receive good customer service plus after I activated the card I received a message saying basically showing it had been activated but my son was not able to use it! I waited A few mins to see if that Would help and it didn’t! I called and all I was told was to submit the issue and someone will call me smh now when I put the card information in it says invalid & the CSR said it showed not activated on his end! The only way they will let you activate is if you give them your personal bank or credit card numbers and they also ask for the order number from where you got the thing off amazon!!!!!!! I had to call Speedtalk customer care and 1st off I could hear a baby cry in the background among other random conventions in the back as well on their end of the call and anyway besides that. then when I told them I would not be giving any kinda personal info to them over the phone or on the net, the guy then started to yell at me (YES, YELL AT ME!!!) and tell me that I had no choice cause I already paid then $5 for the thing!! So I then went on to tell him that I have had a prepaid phone for about 15 years or so through Boost Mobile and have never been asked these personal questions in all this time that I have been with them or from any of the other PRE-PAID phones I've had in my life and that I do have a choice of what I want to do with my personal info and told him to "watch this choice i just made" and I hung up on him only to have him call my personal cell phone back about 10 times in a roll then I kept getting calls from that same number throughout the rest of the day and almost all day the next day that same number kept calling me so I answered it and it was the same guy and he said something like "it was about time I picked up and that he was going to keep calling me till I did so told him that if he did keep calling me that I would have no choice but to call the LAW and I hung up on him then had to block the number. THIS IS A SCAM AND THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SELL THEIR PRODUCT ON HERE OR ANYWHERE FOR THAT MATTER!!!! ... show more

Great SIM card for smart phone!!

Got the SIM card for a cheap first watch for my 10 year old. He has been asking for a phone, but he spends too much time on his tablet, so did not want to add to that. The watch is just a simple sim enabled smart watch, which is where we needed this sim card. The card showed up in 3 business days, and was quite straight forward to pop out. I needed a micro sim, this has the ability be be a regular sim, or a nano sim as well. Went to their website, put the sim card number to activate, had to put credit card info for overages and such, as well as auto renewal, and got a new phone number assigned on the next screen. Put the sim card into an old phone and let it sit for about 20 minutes, and got a welcome text message. Quite straight forward. It's been working just fine for the last couple days. Easy to use but keep in mind for monthly subscription
