Ordered a 30 day prepaid sim from Amazon with 10gb data. Activation process wasnt the smoothest but doable. Activation process took closer to 2 hours, not 15 minutes like they claim. Get a confirmation email with my new number and the details of my prepaid plan, only I cannot make calls or use any data. Call RedPocket and they tell me that I dont have a plan on my account. I asked if that was the case why do I have a confirmation number stating otherwise? They couldn’t provide an answer, only stating there are no minutes or data on my account. Online it said that it could take some time to load, so I let it sit 3 hours. Still nothing, so I purchased a 30 day 20gb plan on the website. Within a couple minutes I was able to make calls. Data still not working an hour later. Spent quite a long time on the phone with RedPocket trying to get phone working correctly. Absolute waste of time, money and effort. Avoid at all costs. Returning sim to amazon and if they dont refund, doing a chargeback with my credit card, same goes for RedPocket. This was using an unlocked Verizon iPhone.

Red pocket mobile was a pleasure to use! Here’s my list to simplify everything down: Positives: - Easy setup: The website contains all the instructions on setting up your SIM card. - Great customer service: I had a question about phone compatibility and had a minor issue with setting up my phone. Fortunately customer service was able to help me very quickly through the chat feature on the website. - Strong Coverage: The coverage is great. I used this for my trip up to New Hampshire from New York City and the connectivity was fantastic. Red pocket mobile is a MVNO a.k.a. mobile virtual network operator which means they use the same towers as the big three carriers. This results in fantastic coverage for most areas. - Fast Speeds: Red pocket mobile felt no worse than my normal T-Mobile coverage. Negatives: - None! Final Thoughts? See what plan fits your need the best. Heavy techies like me would go for unlimited everything but you may not need it. Overall, I’m was happy with the service.

You can pick which company you want to use whether it be Tmobile, At&t, or Verizon. Check beforehand that the carrier operates on a band that your phone supports- otherwise you'll end up with a useless sim card. Once you set this up, it works great! The 25GB of high speed data is more than I'll ever need but if I ever DID go over, they offer unlimited internet so they'll just lower the speed for the rest of your cycle. Unless you're an online gamer or streaming in super HD, I doubt you'll go near the 25GB. Just be sure to lower the video quality a little on things like Netflix and this data lasts forever, I love it!

I've been using a pay by GB service for awhile and kept using more than I thought. This popped up and I decided to try it out with a dual sim phone. Set up was super fast, took me less than 10 minutes. Figuring out how to make this my primary data was a bit trickier due to the phone, but still was quick. The speed for data is great, on par or better than what I get at home. I didn't have any issues traveling either and its a lot of hilly rural country where we are. I was able to call my friend where I haven't in the past, which was great given the amount of road works being done in the area. For this price point and ease of set up this is a great service, I'll definitely continue to use it.
