I am 56 and generally not a long driver. If I hit my driver great it may go 230. The VIXA V12 is my go to club. I can hit it anywhere from 160 to 190. It hits well off of the fairways, I have shaved an average of 5 strokes per round since purchasing. I usually shoot around 90, but since August I have averaged 85, I did shoot an 82 which for me is amazing. I wish they would make one with about 13 degrees loft.

At the time I ordered this, I was having difficulty with hitting my driver. I was not getting proper distance and my shots were offline. This was advertised as a club that could potentially replace both the driver and the 3 wood and that sounded attractive to me, although I tend to hit my 3 wood really well. However, by the time I received the Vixa V12, I had corrected my issues with the driver and found I didn't really need this club. But I decided to take it to the range and test it out and I found this to be a really well-made club that performed well. If I had continued to struggle to hit my driver AND if I was not happy with my current 3 wood then I would have kept this club for sure. The distance was nowhere near as long as my driver if I hit both clubs equally solid but it was long enough and it was certainly easy to keep it in the fairway. It wasn't even quite as long as my Callaway 3 wood (which is a "strong" 3) but the club was super easy to hit and it was reliably accurate. It just so happens that I don't have the need for the club that I thought I would but I would highly recommend this club to anyone struggling to hit their driver. If you are curious how this compares to the GX-7 (which I've also tried in the past) I would take this club as it is more versatile. It has about the same distance off the tee as the GX-7 but it's more accurate and far easier to hit off the fairway than the GX-7 is. Hope this is helpful.

Well, there's still a lot to learn about this club, but I used it for my first two shots on a 340 yard par 4 where I was just short of pin high on the right side of the green... what anyone says it's always the player not the club but this was an easy start and not at all difficult to hit off the fairway as well as the tee, I suspect you'll want to tee up considerably lower than w/a typical driver.

I liked the videos because they were describing my problems. However, once on the range, I just can not seem to be able to hit the ball. I go back to my 3 or 5 wood and no problems but for some reason, I either top it slice it or hook. I have gone back the videos and reviewed their suggestions but it has not helped. I wish I can return it because I am not happy with it but pass the time frame. Weather here in Il has not been the best to get out and play with it more.

Why this club was ever shipped is a mystery. Club arrived snapped in half in a box that was not long enough to fit a normal sized club. It must have been shipped that way.

Took this thing straight to the range and hit a basket of balls. No bull@#$%, i was hitting it straight down broadway 180 to 200 yards. Then took it out for a round of golf and loved the way it played out of any grass. Landed green on 2nd shot on a couple of greens and close enough for easy up and downs on others. Ended up with 8 pars. It is officially my 2nd shot go to club.. i am extremely happy with purchase.

Amazon just delivered my Vixa an hour ago...took it out back, made 3 practice swings then hit a ball out of 3" crab grass (with the plastic still on the head) in to a field across the street. It went about 210 yards up a hill with a nice 10 yd draw. Didn't even feel like I hit the sweet spot. Already in my bag for my 4:00P tee time!!!!

The ad makes it seem that out of the box the club is easy to use but that is not the case. After many trips to the range and playing with it a couple of rounds, I am still trying to hit it as well as my Ping three wood. My irons are all senior flex and I hit them fine and I do not wan to try to alter my swing for one club.
