Very good product. It was a bit tough keeping everything straight, but it worked out well. Be patient and take your time. This support is as sturdy as the posts that don't have the support. I recommend wrapping some sort of cushion or tape brace on the hammering point so the paint doesn't chip. Had a high wind storm and was hoping the fence wouldn't fall, it didn't. Highly recommend.

Very long and thick, which would seem to be a plus until you need to sledge hammer it in place. These would be great for heavy fence post propping, but in my case, I will use them as a metal out-of-ground brace in a heavy windstorm.

The neighbors' kid had been using my cedar fence as a soccer goal so I needed to reinforce a fence post that had become tilted and wobbly. I was planning to use both anchors of this kit to reinforce the post, but after installing one it became rock solid. Excellent product, and fairly straightforward to install (especially with the included drill bit and extra screw). The toughest part is hammering the anchor into the ground but I (female, mid fifties) was able to manage it just fine after 2 days of rain.

Easy solution to my leaning fence post. The metal construction is sturdy and thick. It only took less than 30 minutes to pound them in the ground, drill the holes and put the 4 screws on. I'm glad I found this product. I highly recommend this product. 👌

The unit was surprisingly easy to use. I have an 80 ft privacy fence with a couple of posts that rotted out just under ground level and it was stressing the rest of the fence in moderate to high winds. I dug out to the cement, chipped out enough to pound in the brace with a sledge, and bolted up the brace to the post. It is now as solid as a new install. Very impressed and pleasantly surprised. If you are considering this, make sure the lower portion of your post is structually sound and you should be in good shape. For reference, my soil is very rocky and the post was able to bust through with minimal deformation of the strike plate.

These work better that some other brands due to the unique design. Because of the 90 deg offset, you have a much better surface to hammer them into the ground. The supplied bolts are weak and two of the bolt heads broke off while tightening so they won't take much torque. I would recommend replacing the supplied bolts with a grade 5 or 8. The bolts are the reason for the lower score, but the brackets are awesome.
