  • Great for the camper
Style: 64'' & 30'' Leaf Rake Set
This is a great rake to keep on my camper. I only need this a few times a year and it folds up nice and small. Having 2 is nice, you can use them together to sandwich leaves and carry them - somewhat. The rounded tines is nice. It doesn't dig into the ground, but it does pick up the leaves. I did notice that when fully open, it didn't get the leaves as well. It worked better for me at 80% or so wide. Feels sturdy enough. The handle and tines stayed where they were set. Note - if you collapse it down too hard, it will be difficult to re-extend. The tube is crimped on the end where it meets the tines. The gloves are weird. Slightly too small for me (I have full sized man-hands) and the right glove has sharp plastic claws attached to each finger. The gloves aren't really useful for helping with the rake. I guess they are for digging by hand into the soil? ... show more

  • Pleasantly Surprised by the Quality
Style: 48" x 10" Leveling Rake
I bought this rake for its size, the stainless material, and the design which would not trap material. The price was great as well. So great that I had lowered my expectations that the quality would be poor, but functional. I was wrong! Very wrong. The quality is fantastic. The welds all look great. The handle shaft is in 3 segments with threaded couplings (male-to-male) in between each segment. The thread quality was very good. I added some blue thread locker to ensure the handle stays together while in use. The handle has a single bolt attaching it to the head of the rake. I added 2 washers to this bolt to allow the handle to pivot more smoothly. The handle bolt nut is a nylon thread locking nut. Overall summary, great quality, great design features, nicely weighted, fantastic packaging and a great price. I would definitely recommend this product. ... show more

  • Nice rake
Style: 48" x 10" Leveling Rake
This leveling rake does a nice job. I’ve used this a few times for lawn leveling my Bermuda grass with sand /top soil mixture. I would have given it 5 stars however I found the connection point for the handle wasn’t that sturdy and was prone to bend. Once I knew this I was just a little more careful on the stress exerted on this point. Otherwise, it works really well. ... show more

  • So, this is one of those things
Style: 64'' & 30'' Leaf Rake Set
I had seen someone using this handy tool and I thought I could really use one, too. I love that I can use it skinny, while I'm crawling around "with my hands in the dirt" or extending the handle to use it while I'm standing. It really comes in handy for those narrow areas between pots or plants.

Style: 64'' & 30'' Leaf Rake Set
Great quality: sturdy, easy to use, adjustable handles. Annnd, they included some nice gloves. Expect it to last for several years. We will see.

  • Quality material
Style: 30" x 10" Leveling Rake
First lawn rake I have owned. Very solid, with stainless steel hardware. Heavy but not unmanageable. I was leary to order without getting my hands on it first, but it seems very well made.

  • Really nice leveling rake, but handle is Chinese garbage
Style: 48" x 10" Leveling Rake
First of all, I’m giving a one star deduction because the seller shipped the item on the day it was supposed to arrive, which was still 4 or 5 days after I placed the order. Yet it was still somehow “Prime” - I’m getting really sick of this. Prime means 2 day shipping. That’s what they’ve led their customers to believe. If it can’t be delivered in 2 days it shouldn’t be labeled Prime. I scheduled a massive lawn leveling project around this rake and had to push it back 2 days for this. As for the rake itself, I was surprised at the quality, aside from the cheap powder coat that’s supposed to make it look like brushed metal. That’s gonna chip off in no time, and some of it already has. Other than that, the size, weight, and flatness were spot on. But then there’s the handle… As soon as I pulled it out of the box I told my wife “this is just not gonna work”. The rake is made to push sand. Sand is heavy. The fork design is terrible, but made especially worse because there is no reinforcement in the middle whatsoever. The entire weight of the rake, the sand, the handle, and you pushing is on this tiny little 1/8” piece of (soft) metal and a tiny little ~1/4” bolt. To make it even worse, the hole on the fork is slightly larger than the bolt, so there’s a little bit of play there. Before I even used it I cut a piece of wood the width of the fork and drilled a 1/4” hole all the way through it. I still had very little confidence that it wouldn’t break, but I had 9 tons of sand to push around and less than 8 hours of sunlight left with rain in the forecast for the next 48 hrs. Well, I got about 20 pushes out of it before the handle snapped clean off the fork as seen in the picture. This sent me to Home Depot to jerry-rig a more stable joint out of some galvanized pipe. Needless to say I didn’t get done with my project, so now I have to put everything in the garage and wait for the rain to clear before I can finish. It’s a shame that the head is so nice and I have to leave a one star review, but unfortunately without the handle the entire thing is useless if you’re not somewhat handy or don’t want to spend even more money for another solution. If I didn’t need it that day I probably would have returned it, and I still might. It’s not even worth it to ask them to replace it because it will certainly happen again. It needs to be entirely redesigned. If you want to buy this just for the head alone I’d recommend it, although it probably isn’t worth the price just for that, especially when you factor in having to go spend more money to make a better handle. But don’t buy it and expect the handle not to break; I don’t see a way that it’s possible unless your lawn is already dead flat and you’re only pushing 1/4” of sand and being very gentle. Such a shame to make the most important part of an otherwise awesome leveling rake an afterthought. ... show more

  • assembly problem
Style: 30" x 10" Leveling Rake
The first 2 threads on the lowest handle segment were damaged and the connector would not screw into the tube. I carefully ground off enough of the tube to remove the bad threads and it assembled easily after that. It seemed pretty heavy at first, but the weight works to your advantage while moving material.. ... show more
