  • 57x57x77 Green House - Excellent product, works great so far, I love it!
Material Type: Green PE Style: 57 x 57 x 77-Inch
This is for the Vivosun 57x57x77-inch Mini walk-in Green House. It seems to be the perfect green house for my large sized gardens. My plants are germinating and growing well. It took 30-40 mins to assemble by laying the pieces on pavement per the instructions, one level at a time. Very straightforward and kinda fun. Admittedly I have an engineering mind and everything went smoothly. But I think most people could figure it out. Again, the trick is to start with the bottom level, put the connectors where they should go, then the pipes so everything's layed out. Then connect the pipes to the connectors. Then move to the next highest level, etc. Then the shelves go on and lastly the cover. The instructions were perfect, no complaints. The cover material is reinforced polyethylene which is much better than the clear PVC type. I easily fastened the entire greenhouse to a piece of plywood by drilling holes in it and using zip ties. Took around 10 mins. My feeling is it will withstand extremely strong winds with no need to tie it down. I say that after having designed and built many structures for Burning Man which withstood 60+ MPH winds. Lastly, I used a staple gun to fasten the inside of the flaps to the plywood. That way critters or large bugs can't squeeze in. The door area does leave a bit of exposed holes where bugs can enter but probably not rodents. The rats and squirrels in my yard have left it alone, so far. I put one side of the plywood floor on a 2x4 to angle it slightly. That allows water to drain out the doorway and not pool up inside which could eventually rot the floor and/or encourage mold growth. The plywood, of course, totally prevents weeds from growing inside and prevents critters from burrowing up into it. I highly recommend doing it. Alternatively it could be set up on cement, pavement, etc. But then it would have to be tied down using weights which could prove frustrating. The two windows on the side are barely enough to keep it ventilated inside on >85F degree days. It's gotten so hot inside many seedlings died when I skipped a day of watering, despite the high humidity inside. I wish it had zip-up vents along the bottom and at least one on the roof for more efficient circulation, to regulate the temperature. I have yet to see any small green houses on the market with this feature, however. I'll probably cut my own vents soon as the days are getting hotter. Also, when plants begin flowering, it will be necessary to open the greenhouse during the day (and possibly night) to allow pollinators to enter. Again, this requirement isn't directly addressed by any green house designs I've seen. Overall, I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Great for my apartment
Material Type: Clear PVC Style: 57 x 29 x 77-Inch
I bought this because I live in an apartment and I don’t have any space outside to have a garden yet. I wanted to try to have a little garden with tomatoes and peppers. This worked out beautifully and it sits in my living room by the window. It captures the light keeps the plants warm. My plants are growing faster than when I didn’t have it due to probably air conditioning stuff in the house. It helps. Also, I couldn’t find any of the gnats that come in which that I can Control but I would highly recommend this indoor or outdoor which ever use. It was easy to put together. it’s easy to move as one person and it works effectively. The only part that I would write change I should say is the front zipper is a little bit tight on trying to open at times and gets a little caught up but that’s just minor compared to what it does for me highly recommend buying this. ... show more

  • Love the tent but-
The tent itself is nice and pretty easy to set up, the shelf unit provided is very flimsy and really won’t hold together very well never mind providing a place to put anything on.

  • In the trash after 3 months
I bought the green PE version and set it up within a couple weeks after receiving it. After a light rain a couple weeks later, i noticed water getting into the greenhouse and saw the ceiling was missing some plastic. I figured it was just a small defect and it didnt bother me too much, but then after a couple more weeks i noticed all of my plants had tiny plastic squares in their soil and the ceiling was disintegrating. The PE is too thin for the embedded string that makes the mesh, so after exposure to any sunlight it will begin to fall apart. Within 3 months it was in the trash. I bought another greenhouse to replace it. The metal for the poles is quite a bit thicker and the plastic connectors are a lot more robust in my new one. I can’t recommend this one at all. ... show more

  • Not very sturdy
Material Type: Green PE Style: 27 x 19 x 63-Inch
This was easy to put together - I added my plants (first photo) these are all very light weight pots with not a lot of dirt (herbs). I’ve placed the greenhouse up against the house out of the wind. The second photo reveals the bottom 3 shelves fell out dumping the plants on the ground. Note: before I placed the plants - I went back in to ensure sure all the rods were set in solidly and properly. I was less than happy that the little plants I’ve been coaxing to grow were all knocked out of the pots and the dirt on the floor of the deck. ... show more

  • Great little green house
Material Type: Clear PVC Style: 57 x 57 x 77-Inch
Every season we grow the vegetable first at home and plant them in the garden. It works great with a little limitations due to the sunshine. I decided to try a green house and ordered this item. I checked all reviews and did some preparation before the setup. As seen in the pictures a level ground, some hooks and stick them in the concrete to stable the green house were the most important additions. I also added elliptic non-concrete areas which has access to soil through the gravel. Before doing all set up, I assembled the green house. It comes with a 2 page instruction which is very clear and straightforward. Plastic joins look solid and the metal bars fit in them very nicely. It took me 15 min and you can do it yourself easily. The cover is not the best quality but if attached carefully and secured correctly it will not go anywhere. I also used zip ties at every corner to the metal bars I embedded in the concrete. Do not forget to zip tie the shelves. They are very thin but will Easily handle the load you will put on. So far happy with the setup. ... show more
