This is a pretty decent press for the price. While there weren’t instructions, It was pretty straight-forward out of the box. It’s not too big and fits on my work table without being too clunky. I’ve used the mug attachment, Hat press, and flat press so far with out any issues other than my own error. The press heats up relatively quickly and distributes heat evenly. I was able to create a dozen tumblers for a quick job and everyone thought I spent hours on them. For a hobbyist or someone who isn’t producing mass quantities, this is a great start. It does seem a little cheap in that the buttons are a little flimsy and the attachment cables don’t really tighten into the unit, but it doesn’t impact the job whatsoever. It can tend to be slightly inaccurate with the temperature but it hasn’t affected anything. I got what I paid for and I’m pretty happy with it. I shopped and shopped and looked at ALL THE REVIEWS on a lot of heat presses. I took well over a month to really decide. This heat press had very few reviews but the quality I saw that was in the photos just kept bringing me back. I was drawn to the detailed photos the company had posted for this particular Heat press. I wasn’t too impressed with the price, but then I thought it may just be worth it. So I gave it a shot and went with my gut instinct, let me tell you about the quality and sturdiness of this baby WOW. I feel like a real business owner LOL. It looks clean and crisp and is very heavy and sturdy. The press was completely packaged with care, everything was in tact and secure. There is no wobble when sitting on a flat surface, not even when you swing away the arm to place your item to be heated and it’s pretty much ready to go as soon as you plug it in. I was so nervous to use it because I was really concerned about safety but this heatpress has me really impressed and comfortable with my Teen daughter using it. I’m a small business owner and have done research on all my stuff, this heat press is 100% recommended. It does take a bit to heat up, but once you get it going the possibilities are endless. I am completely happy with my purchase and recommend it! Thank you VIVOHOME for the well packed delivery and quality product! I got it for couple weeks now, but just unboxed yesterday and I did couple iron-ons to try it out, so far so good. After extensive research and to weighing on what I need (mostly iron-on process, cups and hats features are just a nice to have for me), read and compared lots of reviews from others on this product and other products (thankful for other people really taking their time to share their reviews and experiences on products they bought and used)... I decided to give it a try on this VIVOHOME Upgraded 5 in 1 Combo (fyi this product has youTube videos too from other users). And I am completely satisfied! The packaged arrived appearing well packed for protection. The machine and all attachments in the box are in great condition and brand new with manufactory quality! It didn't require any work to assemble the machine, I just took it out from the box, plug a power cord, and here I go to heat press iron-on! Result is impressed and process is easy and efficient! Just be cautions do not touch the hot surface in the process! The instructions come with the machine doesn't give too much details, just bare bone to get you going. But the table illustration of temperature settings vs. materials is very useful. In order to get the results you would like, I recommend to follow that information on the manual. FYI/PS - in addition, I purchased separately teflon heat press paper to sandwich the delicate fabrics as saw others' recommendations. Using the teflon paper does help protect the delicate fabrics for the process. ... show more

    • Wished I would of read the reviews before I bought!!!
I bought this product on September 15, I missed the 30 return by a couple of days. Called the company to let them know that the place you change the plugs from different products is loose and not getting a connection and the wires are now showing. Customer service was very rude, stating that they didn't know if I would get a replacement (which I asked to not receive the same one given I saw multiple people having the same issues). I didn't want to have to continue getting replacements considering I use this for a business. I paid 314.99 for this product and have had it for a little over a month and it is already useless and they want to be rude say I may not get replacement (not like I want one, I would like to get a product that will last longer than a month) even though there's a manufacturer warranty for a year plus I purchased extra item protection. Not impressed with this purchase at all. Never have I had a company be rude and not have the customer as top priority. I would not advise purchasing this item or any product this company produces. ... show more

I got the 8n1, it was nicely packaged and had well written instructions, some others don’t have any. Came with 4 cup sizes from 6oz to 12oz for the cup press, 2 heat resistant sponges to use for plates, a hat press, and a 410F heat press. From the factory it shows temperature In centigrades, press and hold the plus and minus keys simultaneously until setting changes to F for Fahrenheit if you need the temperature to show in Fahrenheit. It’s all in the small two page booklet of instructions. There was a strong factory chemical smell when I unpacked it, air it out, smell eventually diminished over time. Make sure to buy some Teflon paper to protect your plates. At maximum 410F, the top handle was still cool to the touch, the sides were however hot. ... show more

Mine came with no directions, but set up and use is pretty self explanatory. Will need to YouTube videos to know how to set up and use the hat and cup presses that come with the 5 in 1.
