I have an e-bike, electric bike it weighs about 90 lb. I'm 63 years old and I do have a bike work rack for it but it's too heavy to even lift up so I bought this. And I went up in my attic and hooked a chain around one of our my trusses, the chain had a hook on it and I cut a hole in my garage ceiling, a 2-in hole and I pulled the chain through and hooked it around my truss with a little ingenuity. This thing is incredible for a hundred bucks. It has a remote control. It comes with two straps. And a large remote control. I also put a safety harness on it, I believe in Murphy's law I don't want my bike to fall down. I read a review, that somebody has a Ford bronco and they use this to take the top off with. This will definitely do that you just have to buy the correct straps and balance it out. I bought the one that lives 600 lb. I don't know why I didn't buy this before. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It seems to be pretty solid. I bought the 1100 lb model and used it to install a 350 pound fifth wheel hitch in the bed of my pickup truck. Lifts it and lowers it with ease and rather quickly. There is only one downside: it doesn’t stop instantly after you depress the button. The cable winds up or down another 6” after the button is released. No biggy. Just plan for it.

Work's great but is fragile if not babyed along, I am tough on equipment. The hand held remote broke off in second week, then the radio remote broke in the third week, now I have to use the controller built into the handle - its still working and I think it will finish this project. Treat it as a throw away unit for small projects.

I needed to put a heavy garage heater up to the ten foot rafters. Looked at renting a lift. Instead I bought this for less than renting a lift. Did the job perfectly. Didn't use all the nice accessories that came with it. I sold the hoist the next day for one hundred making my expense to lift under fifty dollars. Was a huge win for me. The most valuable item for me was the remote as I was on a ladder controlling the hoist.
