I've had this dryer for about a month. We live in an RV so we needed a small dryer: we could only find 2 that fit the space we had. We chose this one. After reading the previous reviews, I had my doubts but any issues others have had have not been a problem for us. Installation was straight-forward and operation has been flawless - it has met our expectations for a small dryer. Someone mentioned the dial and on-off did not work well, but I have found that as long as you have the dryer door closed to change any settings there are no problems. The instruction manual also mentioned that the dryer will delay and not immediately restart in certain situations but we have never had more than a few seconds delay in restarts. The various settings are perfect for us and I love the reverse spin with the auto setting - really keeps the tangles down even on fitted sheets. The drum size was smaller than I expected (not 3.5 cu ft), but it dries well for its size - just don't cram it full of wet clothes. The air flow (exterior vent) does not seem as strong as my previous dryer, but the clothes dry at about the same rate. I still haven't figured out the felt lint insert. Some say clean/change each load, some say once a week, some say once a month. It is not easy to clean until there are a couple of loads of lint collected on them, so that is what I do. I also bought replacements because I doubt these will last more than a month each. It is not as simple as cleaning the lint screen each load on my previous dryers. I have to say, I really loved this dryer. I loved that I could plug it in to a regular apartment outlet, I loved that it was energy efficient and during some of the hottest months of the year in Florida, my electricity bill didn’t skyrocket. I vented it through a sliding door onto my patio so it didn’t even make my apartment hot or cause my ac to run constantly. It was large enough to fit tank tops, shorts, and undergarments, which I live in. I loved that it would stop cycle occasionally to keep temperature cool and I could dry a full load in 90 min or less. Love it…. But it died a couple weeks ago. I was so sad. I had it for about 7 months, typically using it once every couple weeks. It still looks brand new, but it just stopped working. I contacted customer service who asked for a video, offered suggestions to help, and when nothing would work, they offered to send me a replacement. When they realized the one I had purchased was out of stock, they refunded my purchase. I’m TRULY blown away by their customer service. Thank you! I really appreciate it! ... show more

    • Constantly shuts off; Avoid this one
This dryer shuts off every time I do a load. I clean the lint filter before every single use and I have it set up right in front of a window with the vent pipe blowing out the window. There is also a screeching sound from some component inside that happens frequently; not a big deal but noteworthy. It also came dented on the top, I didn't care enough to complain about that but the turning off every load is unacceptable. The "expiration date window" of course has passed (I've had it for 2 and a half months) so apparently I'm just a sucker that paid for a piece of crap and I'm stuck with it.     • Best purchase I've made after my compact washing machine!
The dryer is compact, was able to use an old tv stand with wheels as a base to elevate it, and it fits perfectly alongside my Magic Chef washing machine, which are both occupying a converted closet space in a mobile home bedroom that only had a 24" doorway, hence my need for compact. It operates easily, and has a filter for incoming air, as well as a large round filter inside at the back which you need a fleece type filter for to add to the mesh screen for lint. Easily replaced, but cost of filters, which are somewhat re-usable is rather high for what they are. I have not had it long enough to measure energy efficiency, but it dries a decent size load in good time and matches the capacity of the washer I have. All in all, I would have liked it to be a bit cheaper too, but still reasonable. Delivery was quick, and set up simple. I'm satisfied. ... show more

    • BE READY TO FIGHT WITH UNREACHABLE TRAP IN BACK OF DRYER CLOGS VENTING
I do like the small size because I live in an apartment that has limited kitchen space. Initially when I used the dryer it did cause my breaker to activate. It was too many sources using the same power. Once I changed where I plugged in the dryer no more circuits breaking! Also for about the first month and a half it worked pretty efficiently. It dries a decent amount of items and I like the choices of drying time. I have only tried the timed settings of 30/60/90. Some bigger items like my Queen size thick comforter takes more than 90 minutes to dry. But for the most part of you stick to the instructions and place the recommended weight of items they dried. The trap in the back that is internal to the dryer ace you’re unable to gain immediately access to begin to clog up. This caused the heated air not to flow properly. Which in turned created a lot of condensation which resulted in clothes not being able to be dried because the air was unable to be properly released and vented. I had to play McGuyver and get creative to repair this problem. I purchased the warranty and upon attempting to place a claim for service I was informed that even though the warranty claims you can access service if needed immediately I was instructed to contact the manufacturer since their warranty was still in effect. Okay then why does it say I can use the additional warranty immediately. No response out further help. The lack of air properly vented caused the plastic hose to begin to melt. I purchased small vacuum attachments and I purchased a stronger better sealed house and ‘jimmy-rigged’ a home made hose! Now I have to open up the back before each use to check that internal trap to clean out the lint that the installed trap that you can gain access to clean the filter and replace did not catch properly! But more the dryer works better! So be prepared to struggle with the lint trap in the back that needs constant cleaning! But there’s limited access to do so because it’s internal and not accessible to take out to clean like the big round one! Otherwise the dryer is ok and does an appropriate job. ... show more
