Quieter than I expected, which made me happy. Holds pressure well. Tried to see how it kept up with flow with the regulator set high, and when the pressure dropped to where the pump turned back on, it held the 43 psi. So running at normal detail brush pressures should be a breeze. It appears to be well built. Does have a 1/8 BSP fitting on it. Bought an 1/8 BSP to 1/4 inch NPT to connect my brush hose. Pack of 2 fittings for $5 on Amazon. Worked fine. So here's the reason for the "except" remark, and the one reason why this did not get a 4-5 star rating in ease of use. They attached a150 psi gauge for a pump that cycles between 43 and 57. And since most airbrushes you'd use with this won't be run even that high, a 60 psi / 4 bar gauge would have been a much better option as it would be easier to set the exact output pressure you want for your brush. ... show more

The Airbrush kit does not explain in detail how to maintain and clean the system. However, most of people who buy online, should already know how to preview item by do some research on Y-tube. All accessories were there. Nothing missing. We set it up in about 30 minutes. We watch on Y-tube on how to dissemble the brush and clean the brush closely. Mixed some paint and start practice using the brush within an hour. With a air storage tank, the compressor stop pumping when not needed. It's a excellent feature. But, even if with the tank running, the noise is really low. The only thing that I wish it has is a airbrush holder built in. ... show more

This is an excellent compressor. It's surprisingly quiet and the tank makes it even easier to use in a smaller space as the motor doesn't run constantly. It does run fairly warm, but most compressors do that and again the fact that it doesn't run all the time helps.

Beginner so my experience is completely lacking. The compressor is quiet, seems to work well. I did try using the airbrush at a recommended 20psi but absolutely nothing would come out (using actual airbrush paint and thinner). And when I say nothing, like just a wisp of air. So not sure what the issue is but if I crank it to 40, it works. Airbrush seems to be fine, does clog really easy (after about 10 minutes, I have to take it all apart and clean it). ... show more

It over heats and stops I have to stop and drain the tank just to get it to start. Vivohome you should check what Chinese junk you put your name on I’m done with this company I ordered a No-Name brand from Spraygunner it’s still Chinese but at least it’s quality checked don’t buy this is trash
