This is what I was looking for with my Samsung G9 49 inch. I didnt even set up the motor function bc I honestly wont even use it that much. I just set it for my perfect height use it as is. It is minimal, built like a tank, and saves room on my desk.

    • Great Range
This monitor stand is easy to assemble but it is very heavy. It has a great range of motion but in reality once I had it at the right height I haven't really adjusted it. It does have memory buttons for multiple heights so that you don't have to stand and hold buttons down to adjust it. I recently upgraded to adjustable desks, but this would most likely be better suited to a stationary desk allowing you to adjust your monitor when you want to stand. ... show more

    • Nice unit, but I wish it had more height range!
This is a very well made motorized monitor lift overall. It was simple to install by clamping the base to my desktop and then install my monitor (which is a 32 inch in screen size) using the standard VESA mount pattern. I like that the controls can be mounted anywhere the connecting cable will reach, and the buttons are very intuitive and easy to operate. The one thing I do not like is that there is not much range in the height adjustment since it is only 5 inches. In my opinion, it should be double that much with at least 10 to 12 inches of flexible height adjustment ability. In my opinion, the range it has doesn't really make enough difference to justify having this unit. But, I digress lol! It is a well made, quality product that works as described, but I am deducting one star for the height adjustment capability. ... show more

    • The Good, Bad and Ugly...
I'm not sure where to start with this particular product. The assembly and installation were essentially what you would expect for a device such as this. Attaching to the desk and then placing the monitor were both very easy. After plugging into power, the LED screen said "E6" or "E3" (my mind went blank when going to type). When looking in the instruction book, there is nothing concerning this message. They have a different message listed, but not this one. It also doesn't say that this model will automatically display this message. Taking a chance, thankfully, and moved forward with the setup instructions. The mount worked great. Then a few days later (weekend off) I went to adjust the height, and none of the buttons worked. I unplugged the power and then had to go through setting everything up again. During the huge storm that caused the Buffalo game to be delayed, lost power. Had to yet again set everything up. There is zero memory to this, so why do they bother with the memory buttons?!?! The other thing, beyond the constant freezing and lack of memory, is that there is an extra cable hanging off the control. It's long enough that it will hit your legs once in a while when moving around working (when the control is mounted to the bottom-front of the desk). The instruction book says that this cord is used on other models for something else. I have looked at all of their products offered on Amazon and can't figure out what this would possibly be used for. As the product itself, the only complaint I have is the cables. For some reason, there's a Y splitter that connects from the PSU to the monitor and then the controller module, and then there's a cable that connects from the controller module to the stand. Apart from that, it's a pretty cool monitor stand. Considering that there's not a lot of 3rd party VESA stands that gives you complete monitor adjustment that you get with OEM monitor stands, this is one of the few valid options that gives you "easier" height adjustment without having to literally hold the monitor to switch to a different height. During installation, once you plug the power in, give it some time for the module to initialize. For some reason the first time I did it the height reported "72" which was outside of the max possible. I had to unplug the power. Once you plug in power, it might show up with error code 3, and the switch to I think "rst", in my case I waited some time and it was able to initialize automatically. The controller module is capacitive (no physical buttons), and includes a timer feature (To remind you to stand and raise the monitor stand) and 3 memory presets. The monitor I tested this with was an Acer XV320QU, and it had no issues handling this 32in monitor. Cable management is decent, although I'm concerned if you have a monitor with lots of cables connected, the included cable management solution might not be enough for all the cables possible. At the time of this review it's $180, and there's standing desks you can buy that are cheaper than this. If you're buying this as a monitor stand with easy height adjust, there's other monitors out there where the included stand is VESA compatible (instead of being proprietary like Lenovo/HP/Dell monitors that are VESA compatible but their stands are proprietary). If you are looking specifically for an adjustable monitor stands that raises/lowers electrically, this thing isn't bad. ... show more
