The screen arrived well packaged. It had stiffeners on the sides and corners. It was shrink wrapped on the ends and strapped in several locations to keep the box together. The Amazon folks delivered it well and left it at my house. I’ve unpacked the screen, plugged it in and let it open up. As the screen was in the closed position for some time, it showed pressure signs, but once the screen was open for a while all of the pressure signs went away. The screen is perfectly flat and has a great ambient light rejection. My previous setup was a regular 1.0 gain screen that was being projected from 18 feet away by a projector on the ceiling. Watching it during the day wasn’t a great experience. The colors were washed out and there was no black color. With this screen, day time watching is enjoyable as ambient light gets rejected, it’s not all black but it’s really good and the colors are saturated. Of course the best time to watch is in the evening or at night, paired with a UST laser projector. The screen is perfect for it and I’m very happy with the purchase. The images are very bright and the colors are saturated. The night sky with stars scenes will not disappoint. One regret. I waited too long, but I promised myself I won’t buy anything new until the old broke. Well it broke as the power supply in my old projector died with a bang and magic smoke. So I got a new screen and projector. I would highly recommend this screen to anyone looking to use it with a UST laser projector, well worth the investment given the quality and performance. ... show more

Well built, excellent material and want to call out the very positive interaction with seller! It's always nice to work with good people. For those new to this type of screen, the material can sometimes be hard to see at wider angles, but this one can be seen clearly at nearly 90deg. The color is great, and the material is nice and tight so there are no wrinkles or depressions that can be very distracting. Of course, since it's not an lcd/oled/whatever display, there is also no glare. At the size I got, the brightness easily overcomes ambient light, although just like a regular screen, direct sun light will wash out the image. The casing is sturdy and looks good, and the acoustic skrim is an excellent addition! ... show more

This thing is just amazing! I waited way too long with my UST Samsung LPT9T projector to get a proper screen since I was moving around a lot and finally got settled and was able to set this bad boy up and WOW the image has never looked so good! And yes I can finally watch sports in daytime without blacking out the room. There are slight imperfections due to the ink per their notes but you can't see them at 7-8 feet away and the image is flawless. Their customer support via amazon chat is top notch too. They respond within 24 hours with any questions. I had a bug splatter on the screen from when it rolled up one night which they asked me to take pictures of and then sent to their technical team to give me the best solution! Just wow, finally a company who cares about their end users and stands by their product. And the solution was very simple - wipe side to side (NOT UP AND DOWN) with a very soft cloth and water - I used a camera lens microfiber cloth and got it right out with light pressure. BUT contact them before doing anything just to make sure it will work for you and you don't damage your screen. I continue to enjoy this screen during the day and night time - if you have a UST this is a must! ... show more

The item is good, it is just way not worth the price tag attached to it, because it has plenty of defects, it was such nightmare to get the huge box to my apartment (of course the delivery guy left it abandoned outside the residence) that I cannot really see myself going through it again, and as I cannot return the projector, I will have to keep it. ... show more

I bought screen this to use with my Optoma P1 UST laser. Note that you have to position this projector very precisely with this or any screen and I had to have custom cabinets made. At the end, I needed to have the screen 1 inch lower than the default screen height. They have two holes with rubber grommets on the left side. You are to remove only the front one and using the provided plastic adjustment put it through the small hole in the case. Of course you are doing this in the darkened room so you can see the projector test pattern. It is unclear from the directions exactly how the tool is supposed to go through the front hole in the casing. After some fumbling, I felt it engage and turned it clockwise as instructed. Nothing happened so I turned it a few more turns and again no adjustment. Then I took out the back plug and put the red flashlight shining in the hole to find out I had the tool in something other than the desired adjustment screw. It should have been in the yellow screw. Which when I changed the angle and adjusted the yellow screw the screen now stops where I want it to. BUT unfortunately now when the screen came down to store it does not stop or shut off automatically as it did prior. It goes down tighter than originally and the motor buzzes until I quickly shut it off. I tried to turn the silver screw back to no avail. Other than that one issue a very nice somewhat pricey product with good screen and seems well constructed. The lid is a little uneven when closed but tolerable if it can be made to work again properly. The company turned out to be very helpful with the problem. They sent a video and replied via WhatsApp to show me how to fix the issue. I would note you can shine a light in alongside the edge of the screen when it is up to be able to see the proper adjustment screws. The one for screen height on this model is yellow. The directions could be a little better. ... show more
