Because the price of Agave (like most everything) is continually going up, I thought I'd save 10 or 15 bucks and try this stuff. Besides having "Added Sugars" it has a weird taste that will utterly DESTROY the flavor of a cup of coffee. I've never had a problem with the many various agave products I've tried over the years but this is bottom of the barrel funk.

Since I've used agave syrup for many years, I know what it should taste like. The VIVENTE Blue Agave Syrup seems OK at first taste, but then the strong aftertaste kicks in. This ruins the flavor of anything you've used the syrup to sweeten.

Two other reviewer had this same issue - The large plastic agave container arrived broken/busted along the seem, which caused agave syrup to ooze all over the Amazon packaging. Photos are within 2 minutes of Amazon delivering the box onto our slate tile porch. I managed to find a large to-go lid to sit the plastic container into to prevent a further mess. As for the agave product, it is good and compares to other agave nectar brands in quality and taste. However, I would be wary of ordering from this supplier VIVENTE again, due to cheap packaging.
