I thought this was going to be a good product or at least hoped it would seeing as its about $30 more than regular carb drinks. I was wrong and heres why. 1. This drink does not mix well at all. Label says 10oz of water per scoop. I put one scoop in 20 oz of water, shook hard and, still a clumpy sticky mess. Same results with 64oz of water as well. Best bet is to let it sit in the coup for 5 minuets and itll slowly melt in. 2. I was skeptical about the label at the start. Supplement facts are 35g carbs 35g vitargo. What they should list is the amount of sugar they put in the product. Extremely sweet and like instated above if it doesnt mix right and you drink it you get that sticky carb mix all stuck to your teeth. 3. Honestly its overpriced you can get this 30 bucks cheaper if you want a carb drink. I had to try this to see what made it so expensive and I'm disappointed. 4. This product is not good if you are looking for a carb drink go somewhere else. I will be attempting to refund this and return it. ... show more

    • The turbo you need to get you through a tough workout
This stuff is fantastic. I don't use it as a pick me up before a workout (I have a little caffeine for that), but this is more like the turbo that keeps you going throughout the workout and pushes you a bit further. I find a steady energy with no crash. I have noticed a huge difference in energy levels and performance when I've taken this and when I haven't (with caffeine being a constant). I teach very high intensity kickboxing classes and I get though them just fine if I have this! Its a bit tough to dissolve, but will dissolve easier if you mix with some warm water/ juice first, then add the cold. Flavor is wonderful (mango). ... show more

Watching my son grow into a competitive swimmer, his practices are getting more intense. 5-6 days a week practice for 2.5hrs with occasional twice a days are exhausting to say the least. Recently he'd come home so exhausted he won't eat but a few bites and just go to sleep. Heard about this from a classmate who is a fitness maniac. Skeptical about the price I got the smaller container. What a difference we saw in practice! Usually at the slower end compared to his swimmers in his group and occasionally getting lapped by the faster older boys. After the 2nd day, using the drink he came home more animated and talkative than usual from practice. He was now 5th fastest out of 25 in his group. His muscles are sore after practice but not fatigued like before. He swam 9 miles in practice over 2hrs as they were practicing 1650 free sets over and over... His recovery is much faster and his coaches and co-swimmers have seen the difference. He's able to train harder and longer with improved performance. I had not heard anything about Vitargo until a year ago, and I finally got to experience it - and, repeating the title, it is just amazing. You will feel the energy rush right away, and a workout that was going downhill (due to exhaustion) will change in just a couple of minutes. And you will feel replenished after you end, as well. I’ve tried different carb sources for workouts and Vitargo is by far the best and proven. Other sources I’ve tried are highly branched cyclic dextrin, carb 10, carbolyn (basically hbcd, maltodextrin, dextrose mix). I notice long sustained energy when I take before and during workouts and absolutely no GI distress or osmotic issues by the carbs not digesting properly. I was so happy to finally find a carb supplement I could take for workouts without the GI issues of other inferior carbs. I can’t eat around workouts so I rely on carb powders to fuel my training. I take anywhere from 2 to 4 scoops before/during my workouts. I’ll continue paying premium for a proven product that agrees with my body. ... show more

Best price anywhere! Been using this product for over 4 year. Used it for crossfit workouts, powerlifting training. I use 3/4 of a scoop...sometimes a full scoop for longer /heavier workouts. I definately can feel the differnce in my stamina with and without this product. The unflavored is a little wierd. Just make sure you mix well because it turns like glue in your blendy bottle. I bought the flavorless and just as advertised, it doesn't have a flavor. Pro- no flavor and other than a little thickening, doesn't effect the taste of the BCAAs I mix with it for a during workout drink. If I am lifting heavy and feel empty at the end of a workout, I'll add a scoop to my post workout whey. I've noticed that my energy levels are more consistent through out a long work out on the bike, swimming or weigh training. I took a star off, because it clumps easily, although I've learned to avoid it most of the time if I shake the heck out of it immediately after adding liquid. ... show more

Me and my wife are light sleepers, we are easily waken up and hard to go back to sleep again...this after we had kids and probably were just really getting older:) .... we would use this after workouts and we do notice improved sleep quality since we started taking them. Anyone who is into sports know that a good sleep results in better recovery. I train for triathlons and this helps a lot ... show more
