We’ve been using the Vitamix Propel 750 almost every day for smoothies as part of trying to lose weight, and it’s been great. It’s been over 2 months now and we’ve actually seen results, which helped us stay consistent. The smoothies come out super smooth—no chunks at all, even with frozen fruit. It’s really powerful and blends everything quickly. I also like that it has 6 preset modes, and the self-cleaning mode is super convenient. It gets most of the leftover bits out, so it’s much easier to just rinse or give it a quick wash after. It is a bit loud, but that’s expected for something this powerful. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but you can tell the quality is different compared to cheaper blenders we’ve used before. For how often we use it, it feels worth it. It was probably a decade ago that I first heard about Vitamix from a coworker. He bought one for his wife for Xmas. After some research, I determined it was WAYYYY out of my budget. Many years later, older, and more health-conscious, I started making smoothies with a NutriBullet. It’s super-compact but struggled with blending frozen fruit and ice. The ingredients will get stuck, and the engine struggled. I’ve even had a Breville blender which was still $200 and didn’t do much better of a job. Finally, I took the leap and purchased one when I caught news it was on sale. Finally, I can afford it. Okay, let’s see what all the hype is about. I really liked how there were presets for each type of blending with preset variable speed cycles and timer. Don’t forget the proper layering of smoothie ingredients - the different cycling in the program. The cycle starts off slow to mix the liquid and greens. Once the bed of greens liquifies, the rest of the ingredients sink down into the blade. Once the blade reaches the frozen ingredients, the engine revs up and cuts through everything. You can feel the strength of the motor because anything lightweight behind the blender is sent flying. Even the chia seeds got obliterated. It is overall the perfect kitchen appliance - engineering at its finest. Did you ever wonder why the pitchers are so narrow and tall - making it difficult to store on the countertop under most kitchen cabinets. The reason behind this befuddling feature is that with a narrow pitcher, the ingredients will come into contact with the blade more. The type of plastic the pitcher was made of dries super-fast. I LOVE that. Ditto for the lid. The lid has a dome shape. Not certain of the purpose. The material rinses very very well and easily. Overall, I am ecstatic with my purchase. One thing of note is ALWAYS peel your produce. I got lazy one day and did not peel the apple skin. The Vitamix really struggled. I had to run the smoothie program twice. I’m afraid it would be bad for the blender. With the high price tag, I must treat this appliance carefully. I’ve noticed the feet on the blender left gray smudges on the white countertop. My second Vitamix over the years and my first one still works fine! I just felt like getting another one when they were marked down a ton for prime day! Easy to use. High quality. You gotta warm the motor up a little when you first go to use it. If you go straight to high, the motor will get hotter much quicker! ... show more

Most disappointing purchase of my adult life. As soon as I turned it on the first time, I could smell the motor burning. I’m very careful with my blenders, it wasn’t even remotely overloaded. Following uses the performance got worse and worse. Could feel it lose power if it ran more than a few seconds straight. Reached out to customer service, filled out their form. Took them at least a week to respond. My message was VERY detailed. But yet their response included a list of questions that were already answered by my initial message. So I responded, giving even more detail. Their next response took a week. I felt like I was spoken to like I was a child. I’m not sure if it was an actual person or some Ai program that handled the whole situation. They gave some tips on using the blender, which I followed exactly. And now the blender performs even worse. Today, one month after getting it, it shut itself off due to overheating. For a blender meant to handle commercial use, I am beyond disappointed. At this point, this is the 1st and last vitamix product I will ever own. And just an fyi, I’ve been having a smoothie every day for about the last 10 years, so I know how to care for a blender and use it in a manner to make it last ... show more

Gave this blender to my daughter for her birthday. She hasn’t used it much get. It what she has made with it were great. She likes the self cleaning feature a lot. She now has smoothies with strawberries and blue berries which she normally can’t do because of her diverticulitis. This is my second Vitamix. Good blender overall. Would give a 5-star, but it does struggle a bit in certain situations we can't explain and tends to smell when it does, as if the motor is burning. But we use this almost daily and it's a workhorse.
