I have had this for a couple months now. It is plenty powerful, and blends my smoothies well. I have had an issue of it jamming but I think that is bc I didn't put enough liquids in to start. I then added liquids and it blended again. I use the adjustable speed part, now the preset buttons. Very happy with it. It is loud, but I had a more expensive one before hand last year and it wasn't that much quieter, even though that one said it had noise dampening features. ... show more

What can I say? It’s a vitamix, this thing could pulverize metal ( don’t try that- just saying) And mine was refurbished. There’s a reason vitamix owners always talk about their vitamix. Things a beast.

I was initially hesitant about buying the Creami at first , having read the reviews. However after reading a lengthy one from anogher purchaser I took a chance. His instructions were so precise and extremely helpful. There is a learning curve. It always takes two churns to get the best product. And you have to make sure to fill the cup just below the max fill line. It takes a few tries to get the best results. Even the ‘almost’ batches are still good. I bought extra cups to ensure I have a continuous batch ready to go. The only reasons I gave 4 stars is due to the loud noise and having to churn the ingredients twice. My blender is equally as loud and the Creami result is so creamy and delicious that, to me, it is a small inconvenience. Besides it’s much faster than my other traditional ice cream machines, takes up less space, is quicker and, most importantly, the finished product doesn’t have to be put in the freezer prior to eating. ... show more

I've never been more disappointed in a product. After years of hearing about how great the Vitamix is, I decided to invest in one. I was really looking forward to those thick acai bowls! I was coming from a nutribullet pro that I have used for the last few years to make acai bowls with frozen blocks. It required some coaxing but did the trick. This Vitamix requires a SIGNIFICANT amount of coaxing to get the acai bowls to blend and I wind up with a halfway melted base of acai every time. It seriously can only "try" to blend for about 4 seconds before getting stuck and I have to rework the product with the stick or by taking off and stirring product. I am adding enough liquid - it just does not meet the hype it terms of power. It SUCKS. I know I did not buy the more expensive one, but this one does not even do what my nutribullet pro was capable of at a much lower price point. This is a frustrating piece of equipment and it makes me angry I spend the extra money on it every time I use it. I am not one to write negative reviews but this warranted it.
