I drink this in hot water everyday just as if it was hot chocolate! My hair has remained on my head much better than before I started it and my nails grow like crazy! I like getting in so much protein early in the morning. It used to come in 2 pound canisters and they have reduced that considerably. One of the best protein powders that I have tried! You can drink it with water or put in a smoothie and you cannot even tell that it is there. It dissolves quickly, tastes great, gluten and soy free, and gives my protein shakes a good consistency when used. Great price as well!

I’ve been using this product for about two months. It takes about a month or so to start noticing any difference. So far this is what I have found… I have not noticed any change in my nails. I’ve always had soft peely nails and they are still just as soft and peely as before. As for hair, well I already have a pretty glorious mane so I can’t speak to the effect of collagen on hair. Here is the part that I noticed the biggest change and that is my skin. As soon as it gets a little chilly my skin, especially on my hands, gets very dry and flaky. So far we’ve had plenty of cold enough weather that my skin tells the tale of how cold and dry it is, however this year I noticed I am far less dry. I usually forget to moisturize regularly and generally slather some on my hands when I’ve reached the itchy dry stage. I’m so happy to report that since I’ve been drinking this collagen on a CONSISTENT basis and I have yet to experience the usual level of dry I would normally feel this time of year. So about the consistency part… You need to give it time to build up in your body and then maintain it. I drink this 5-6 days of the week depending on what I feel like doing. Drinking this collagen as the container suggests is gross. It tastes like under sweetened cocoa powder (NOT hot chocolate powder) so I like to mix mine in hot coffee with a little sweetened condensed milk. Don’t like coffee? That’s fine. Just find a way to add sweetener that works with your diet and lifestyle. All that said it is not a miracle product but it does help. Every body is different and has different ways of digesting and using what we put in it. Maybe it will help your nails or give you a noticeable change in your hair. For me it’s been skin and that is perfectly acceptable. Oh and then there’s the bonus of a protein boost, which is the main reason I started drinking this in the first place. We use this when we are in the mood for something chocolate but want something healthier. We make shakes with almond milk and peanut butter powder and they are pretty good. It does not upset either my or my husband’s stomachs. Not sure what the collagen does for us exactly except give us a serving of protein. I LOVE this flavor! I was skeptical that it would be weak or watery. It is not either. I love that it is good for me. I have used with water & almond milk and added a half serving to oatmeal. For drinks, it really works best if you blend it.

I love how soft and full my hair has been since using this. Another benefit that I've seen has been stronger nails. I had hoped for less pain in my joints, but have not noticed a difference there. One thing you need to know is that this must be blended with a blender or it is clumpy. I put mine in my protein shake and have no trouble, but I tried to use it without a mixer the other day and it was disgusting.
