I purchased this book as a gift for a friend, hoping it would support a more positive and intentional mindset. Visually, it delivers. The photography is beautiful, thoughtfully curated, and clearly high quality. The production value is strong, and the images alone make it feel like a premium, coffee-table style book. That said, this is not a step-by-step guide for creating a vision board. If you’ve never made one before and are looking for clear instructions or a structured starting point, this book doesn’t really offer that. There’s very little guidance on how to begin or how to use the material beyond general inspiration. The book seems best suited for readers who already understand the vision-boarding process and simply want visual prompts, affirmations, and aesthetic inspiration to build from. In that context, it works well. Some of the affirmations may also feel polarizing depending on personal taste. Phrases like “My presence is a privilege” or *“I get paid just to exist” leaned more toward vanity than grounded empowerment for me, which may not resonate with everyone. Bottom line: A visually striking inspiration book for experienced vision board users who value aesthetics and affirmations. Less ideal for beginners or readers seeking practical, instructional guidance.

The media could not be loaded. This is a really vibrant book. Totally love that the emphasis was on Black Women because it really can be difficult to find a collection of imagery catered to this demographic for this purpose. There are a lot of pages and a significant number of photo options with tons of inspo pics to choose from: foods, homes, fitness, motivational quotes, career oriented images, nature scenes, vacation scenery, luxury environments and goods, animals, goals, etc. I scrapbook and bought this with that intention, but I completely see how it would work for a vision board. There's also a great variety of picture sizes and orientations for various types of arrangements. One con I have to note is that some full page images are very low quality though - like, super pixelated and grainy. You can tell there was a smaller, sharper imager that was just stretched out. Makes some options unusable in my opinions.
