I’ll start off by saying this vinyl is very pretty and shiny in person. It seems to cut pretty well with my maker three, by using a deep point blade. However I found it very difficult to remove the clear wrapping from the vinyl. Also that’s vinyl was almost impossible to weed out. Definitely not the easiest to work with, but I was able to weed out a design with that after two failed tries. Despite this vinyl being pretty to look at, I would say purchase but with the mindset that patience is key when working with this vinyl. The adhesiveness is stellar. The media could not be loaded. Gorgeous vinyl. This vinyl was my second experience with adhesive vinyl. Comparing to the only other vinyl I've used, this vinyl felt higher quality and was stickier than Oracle (the black in my photo and video). I'm not an expert, as this was one of my first times using this medium, but it was so easy to use. It cut very well on my Silhouette Cameo 3. I chose metallic adhesive vinyl and tweaked the settings per some of the other reviews. I used a blade 2, speed 7, pressure 5 and it cut beautifully. It weeded very easily, even the tiniest pieces in the unicorn and Moana's flower. I'll try other colors in the future. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I normally don’t really review items unless they totally blow my mind and this item really blew my mind! It was easy to use on my Cricut and the transfer was just flawless! More flawless than the Cricut brand itself. I ran to the store to buy removable vinyl for other plates I was going to make and the transfer was HORRIBLE! I tried more, default and less pressure but the vinyl would remain stuck to the backing making it hard to peel and transfer, sometimes ruining my design. But this vinyl was AMAZING! No issues. I made these plates for someone’s birthday party and everyone loved them! The roll was perfect to make 5x5 logos for 16 plates. Will definitely buy again! And highly recommend!     • Beautiful: Learning curve involved

The media could not be loaded. I purchased 3 rolls of the Opal 12’ long. The first of three rolls that I opened, it does ‘not‘ have the protective film on top of the vinyl, as mentioned in the listing. There are some small scuffs in the vinyl surface. My first cut on the Cricut Air 2, I had settings set to custom/premium outdoor vinyl and “more” pressure. I had one tiny snag upon weeding. I cut the handprint, “Jeep” emblem, “Dirty deeds” and “Dunder Jeep”. Applying the handprint around curves, I had to cut 4 relief cuts to fold over itself on the curves of the back of the mirror. “Jeep” and “Dirty Deeds” went on beautifully. “Dunder Jeep” was a large decal, with parts of the font being upwards of a 1” wide. That decal went on with a ton of bubbles that I could not push out. They were horrible looking, up close. You had to look very very close to see them. However, I was worried about the integrity of the decal longevity lasting with some of the bubbles being at the edge of the decal, which still wouldn’t push out. So I learned about the wet method/application of large decals, by watching videos from YouTube University. I made a second “Dunder Jeep” decal, and this one came out perfectly! It lays perfectly flat. My cricut settings for the second cut was custom/premium outdoor vinyl with ‘standard’ pressure. However, this time I did ‘not’ remove the vinyl from my Cricut, I sent the vinyl back through my cricut for a second cut. Warning, if you attempt to do a second cut, you ‘cannot’ remove the vinyl/mat from the machine. Overall, I am happy with the outcome. However, my decals have only been on for less than 24 hours, at this point of my review. Hopefully, these will last a long time, between adhesive and color/fading. If I notice either of these things beginning to happen too quickly, I will return to update my listing. Next project is to design and apply 5 large mandalas all over Dunder Jeep. One of those 5 will be applied to the vinyl tire cover. ... show more

    • Really nice vinyl but...
The vinyl is beautiful! and it weeded beautifully! I found out the hard way that they must have thrown in some holographic HTV or included it on accident. Thats a great thing but I didn’t know this. I thought it was all adhesive vinyl and cut my project out on the HTV. Wasted the whole sheet. And now I don’t have the color I really planned for my project. Some instructions or notice in the package might help customers recognize the difference. It is definitely worth the purchase and I certainly appreciate the freebie but just be aware that there may be a mix of vinyls. The adhesive vinyl has a little sticker on the bottom to remind you to remove the protective covering. The HTV of course does not. ... show more

I made cups with this vinyl and they are so cute! Then I cut the silver looking sheet. It was a nightmare. I think Satan makes Crafters use this in Hell. There was a clear plastic sheet over the sheet that was not over the first one I used. It caused uneven cuts and lifting. Weeding was a nightmare. I cried a little, then I cried more. Night sweats and PTSD now follow me when I think of using it again. I ended up giving it to my least favorite sister and she hated it. 😜 That's about the only good thing I can say now. The previous cups looked so cute but peeled up. I would gift this to someone I really wanted to torture but would not buy again for myself. ... show more
