I've had a few of these in the past. Not this brand tho. This vise is probably the best one I've ever had in this price and size. I've used it a lot in the last few months and it's just as tight now as when new. My other vices seem to become.... "loose" over time. Very happy with this vice.

Ive never used another vice, so i have nothing to compare it to, but it works very nice for me. Ive already used it in my workshop so many times in a few weeks, I cannot believe I waited so long to buy a benchtop vice!

It works fine, but it was to replace one that is probably 60 years old. mounting base is same size as that one, but what's the quote? Where's the beef?

This is a nice vice for the price and my DIY shop. I filed off the sharp edges after busting my knuckles. You'll see if you get one. Had to tighten the bolt underneath so it would lock down better. That bolt and washer is to loose. That's it. Bolted to bench and ready to go. I use it a lot. Sanded the paint off the anvil too. ... show more
