The only problem I had was, when it was delivered, there was not sufficient packaging material to prevent it from breaking. The box it comes in has bubble wrap, but the box that the product was placed in was too big and had no protective material in it, so it broke and I had to return it. I have a Sterilight Silver UV disinfection system that I installed in 2005. It requires an S810RL UV light with a recommended replacement schedule of 12 months. For a few years I tried different brands, usually buying the cheapest bulb available. A couple arrived broken, some wouldn't light, and some failed prematurely. The first Viqua I bought came directly Viqua. It was packaged flawlessly, came with replacement gaskets, and worked a full year. Since, I have never had a Viqua fail, once using a bulb for a year and a half (I kept hitting the reset button on the controller.) I will openly admit to buying from sources other than Amazon in the past, but this is my 8th consecutive purchase from Amazon, because I know it will get to me within a couple of days. You can buy cheaper bulbs, but not better bulbs. ... show more

I am quite mechanically inclined, but put off installing this as I anticipated a two hour long job due to unforeseen issues. After reluctantly committing to undertake the project, I literally laughed out loud to discover how ridiculously simple it is to change.
