Description

The Viper Sinister 58-Inch, 2-Piece Billiard Cue is constructed from quality hard Canadian Maple wood on the shaft. It features intricate acrylic inlays and points in perfect harmony; finished off with 9 coats of varnish to prevent warpage. Several stainless steel rings along the forearm and sleeve add to the uniqueness and overall design. Featuring lightweight stainless steel joints which help provide consistent feedback during play and includes a removable scuffer. Simply twist the scuffer off and use it to shape the tip of your cue, allowing for enhanced chalk retention. It's available in 18-21 ounce cue weights, offering a customizable assortment. Each billiard cue is finished off with a 13mm Le Pro leather tip and Irish linen wrap.

I use a lighter cue than most. I like the 18oz feel. This cue plays as well as my McDermott. No need to do anything right out of the box. While I prefer inlays rather than any overlays, the graphics look fine. It looks like my old school Willie Hoppe a bit, which I like. I paid just under $100 a that makes this cue worth every penny. I bought a 20oz and a 21oz stick that are exactly the same stick, only the weight is different. The tips, quality, workmanship, and are second to none for this price. Buy this stick, you are not going to get a better quality product for this price. If somehow you get a defective stick contact this company because errors can be made, it's not because this company is not trying. I can see the effort this company put in to making this a high quality product. There was not a nick or dent anywhere on either stick. Both sticks were extremely well balanced. Buying a pool cue site unseen is always a crap shoot because you have no idea of the quality you are going to get. These cues are better than the sticks you get with most pool table packages, and more attractive, but they have a bit of a flimsy feel to them. For the money, this cue is head and shoulders above the ones within the similar price range. Most important and foremost is that it is straight as an arrow and I tried it out and is pleasantly surprised by the feel and quality of the shot making. Two areas that kept it from getting a 5-star. Why do they have to use stickers for the barcode. Not only that the sticker placed at the butt end is extremely difficult to remove. I practically spend 15 mins using solvents to remove it. Couldn't they place the sticker on the bag instead of right on the cue. It is an eyesore. Secondly I wish the cue tip is a bit softer for more control. Yes, even though I chalk the tip substantially I still get miscues. All in all, for the price it is a very good cue. Well balanced and visually pleasant. If I were to point out one negative, it is the cue tip. Its a bit too hard for my liking because trying to apply any spin is difficult at best. ... show more

Not straight, tip is extremely hard. Overlay not set properly so you will feel ridges where you shouldn’t. Shaft had some sort of clamp indentation about 6-8 inches from tip which is right where it rests on your hand to shoot. Poor quality for the price.

This is my 4th purchase. These Viper cues mean business. Good-looking, hard tip is superb for control, though you'd better be able to generate cue ball spin yourself. Straight as an arrow and just feels like an extension of my arm. I'm well aware of people staring at me, running racks with the Sinister and getting comments like, "Isn't that stick like $90 bucks?"
