I was looking for a new closet because I had a closet, but it was made of plastic and even though it held up eventually over time it would break. So I was looking for something that would be able to hold all my clothes without having to replace it every 8-12 months. As you can see all my clothes are comfortably placed on this rack! I was missing clips and they sent the clips to me without charge. This was a good purchase! P.S. The downfall are the written instructions. I purchased two of these, and have had them in use for a few weeks. When I first opened the box, I immediately felt like I got scammed. As soon as I saw the shelves, my stomach sank. I wasn't expecting a beautiful piece of metalwork, but I also wasn't expecting something that didn't look like the photos. These are not heavy duty. These are built to the lowest possible standard. The metal shelves are made out of the thinnest and widest-spaced wire I have ever seen on a product like this. They look nothing like the photos in the Amazon ad; the photos in the reviews are more representative. Even with just a few pounds, the shelves bend. Nothing about the shelves was straight or flat out of the box; not from shipping damage, but from being warped by heat when welded (likely because of the thin wire everything is made out of.) The reason for two stars instead of three is that the hooks on the end of the unit are of a completely different design and appearance then shown in the photos. What is shown in the photos is a thick set of hooks that are nicely rounded and look very sturdy. What was included in the box is again, made from the thinnest possible metal; the hooks have a sharp point and are of a completely different design. The sliding drawers on the V9 model stick on one unit no matter how they are adjusted or how the unit is assembled; it looks like the drawer was manufactured wider than it was supposed to be. I can see why many people have trouble assembling these units; the directions leave out major important details, and you are likely to not realize you have assembled the unit incorrectly before you get further along in the process. If you are not mechanically inclined and detail oriented, I would be prepared to assemble and disassemble the unit multiple times. The entire thing was assembled carefully, but is still quite flimsy feeling. If you have animals or kids, the zip-tie wall anchor system is a must. This item does work; it is holding clothes right now (although significantly fewer than I had hoped to prevent bending) - The two star review is based on the misleading photos and ad copy. ... show more
