Been wearing Vionic/Orthoheel/Weil shoes for years. Finally gold sandals again! They happen to go with almost everything and I am not a flashy type of person. (Rose gold is not a nice color that they offer btw). Vionic makes very few slip on sandals without needing to buckle or Velcro them onto your foot (unless you like flip-flips which I don’t) and all of them are pretty ugly. This one looked like it had some potential. The straps are slightly puffy, not flat. So it’s comfortable but looks weird. Who ever heard of puffy straps on shoes? They are comfortable but make your feet look fat. Also as other reviewers pointed out the straps are kinda long but they’re not hitting the floor. The base where your foot bottom meets the shoe is faux suede which makes it hot and that was noticed when I was inside my home- the opposite of what i want when it’s hot. The base is also a light color which is getting dirty already and I haven’t even worn them for a full day. I do slide them on & off multiple times a day but thats why you look for a slip on shoe, right? In my opinion NOT worth the one hundred dollars I shelled out for them, but since I wore them and got them slightly dirty already PLUS there aren’t very many high arch alternates I’ll keep them. I’d suggest not paying more than 50 for these to make it worth it. Meh. Comfortable, but hot & barely passable On the looks factor for shoes. Man, I hate having plantar fasciitis and wish I could keep wearing cuter shoes. I have to wear these for sheer comfort but I sure do wish they could make prettier shoes. BTW I have owned prob around 75-100 if this brand Vionic/Orthoheel/Weil shows over the years so I know what I’m talking. about. I really wish they made Seaside gold sandals again. Those were my absolute favorite.
