Finally TRUE TO SIZE ! No more extra shoe ! And it might be because I've worn them for so long, but I swear theses are lighter in weight . I've been a VIONIC girl since they came to the U.S. .. It was on the advice of my chiropractor that I had to see 3 times a week for months due to : neck pain , trigger point pain in my shoulders , lumbar pain . hip pain , knee pain , and the feeling that my right heel bone was going to stab out of my body at any moment . After that I can't tell you how many pairs I've bought throughout the years . What I can tell you is that they are now TRUE TO SIZE , no more extra shoe all the way around your foot , even if you did buy the closest shoe size down to your half size. Not the same as other flip flops from vionic. Cant seem to replace my anniversary tides from qvc that ive been wearing and replacing for years. I sent two others back to amazon because they wouldnt even stay on my feet. So weird. But these were just tight enough and i was desperate enough to keep these. Be aware that this has a rubbery foot bed. It’s not the soft kind, which is why it costs a little less. I wouldn’t want to wear them all the time. It also runs a little wide (size 10.5 -11 narrow or normal width is my size ). Given that, it’s a better, prettier flip flop. I have never particularly felt comfortable in flip flops but I needed something to wear to the first part of bachelorette (which was a pool party) and to the beach for my honeymoon. These sandals are amazing. Super comfy, cute and casual, I have already worn them so much. They are holding up well and I'm planning to buy another pair in a different color. I own 7 pairs of Vionic thongs. A color for every wardrobe change! Have a few pairs that are 5 years old and still look new with a little cleaning. For me these are comfy and durable. A win win. Please be aware that if this is you first pair of orthotics you will need an adjustment period to get used to how they feel. These are pricey, but worth it. ... show more
