The first thing to note about this fiddle is that it's beautiful. I'm no expert on instruments but this one is elegant consisting of gorgeous wood and accents. The second thing to mention is that I'm a total novice to the fiddle and choose this one because it's designed for beginners. The price is quite modest. Again, I can't give an informed opinion about how the sound of this fiddle compares with others in this or other price ranges the way an experienced player knowledgeable about how different instruments sound, feel and play can do. That said, I find it easy to play and hold, enjoy the sound it produces and like love the look of the thing. I can think of no better choice for a beginner. I hope to become good enough to upgrade in the future but am really pleased with this as an introduction to the fiddle and gladly recommend it to other beginners. ... show more

Excellent quality and craftsmanship. This Violin is very well made with a beautiful natural wood finish. We wanted something that was not overally expensive and was suitable for my child to start learning musical instruments.
