TL:DR: Finished product looks great! Time and patience are a requirement. I bought this to do a chrome delete on a 4 door sedan and had zero vinyl wrap experience prior to doing so. Start by taking the time to properly prep your surfaces. I used rubbing alcohol to wipe down the trim pieces and made sure they were dry before starting. The wrap itself is very forgiving if you stick it down and need to move it around a few times. That being said, it can be challenging if you try to use it in trim pieces that have any kind of curve to them. You're almost assuredly not going to be using this for any trim that has more than a few degrees of curve, but maybe that's just my inexperience. Don't forget, there is a protective layer that needs to be removed after application. I would suggest using knifeless tape, wrap applicator tools (tuck tools), a heat gun, and gloves maybe for vinyl applications. I watched a lot of videos before using this product and while it turned out pretty well, you can see some mistakes I made up close if you're really paying attention. To do both sides of the vehicle trim around the windows, two pieces on the front bumper, and two pieces around the tail lights, took me probably five straight hours. I think maybe they forgot the squeegee, but like I said, get a tool kit with gloves and tuck tools. ... show more

Unlike other brands, 3M films and tapes stretch and provide a durable and attractive finish. The adhesive is strong and quality/durability of their films is excellent. I have been using these films (various colors and clear film) for over 24 years. Quality superb. I have used less expensive films and found the adhesives to be either too weak or too strong - with poor long term durability and great difficulty with application.
