I was debating whether to get this smaller table & bench set, or a bigger plastic set for around the same price. I am glad I chose this set! It is so pretty and it smells like the tree was just cut. I love that you didn’t have to assemble anything. I do wish it was a little bigger, and that the wood grain was more straight than diagonal. It also is a little wobbly but I think that’s just because it’s light weight. I am happy with it! And glad that I bought it.

Update: Responsive customer service. Vendor offered us a partial refund for the faulty bench. In the swingtime we found another business using these sets. After seeing them in action there, we felt more confident about the functionality and longevity. So we decided to try again. The price is right, and now that we are aware of the latch issue, we can finesse it. Be careful to make sure the bar seats completely in the latch---it may look engaged when it's not---and you may have to apply unexpected force to square it up. But when securely latched, seems to be supportive. Purchased for business. We plan to buy several bier Garten sets, but thank goodness bought only 1 to see the quality vefore ordering more. We unboxed, set up and almost immediately 1 bench leg support bent outward, bending beyond repair, customer fell to ground! Metal supports gouged our hardwood floors on collapse. It was a catastrophe. Upon examination, the metal legs are very bendy, and some of the latches are not installed square to the part to insert, so they don't properly engage allowing the support to twist out of the latch and then the bendy metal twists and bends in any direction tion. Be very careful. With pliers or strong grip you can torque the pieces to fully latch but it is not automatic and hard to tell if latched. We have contacted seller, hoping they will send a replacement bench. However, all those who saw the problem are concerned that the metal is simply not strong and we question whether we would be comfortable seating guests even if latches are well engaged. We will wait for sellers response, but probably will return.

This is a beautiful table, created with solid high end parts. However, one of the table legs had a factory defect in the leg stand that would not allow it to lock in place. I do’t want to return it, as it is quite heavy, and other than that it is a very quality product. I will most likely attempt to repair the defect myself. This is probably a one off issue, so I do recommend purchasing. It’s easy up, and easy down and will fit in RV basement compartments with ease. Keep in mind it will be heavier than a plastic table set, but it is also much classier!

The craftsmanships of the product was very poor. The table top is cracked in two places. There are also several nicks in the wood and scuffs and the bench legs do not lock into place. I was so disappointed if executed this would of been very pretty. Definitely will need a rug under or or the metal legs will scratch the floor. This has been such a hassle to return Do NOT buy it is junk Update: I tried to return this and they are requiring me to pay for the return and Amazon will not cover this under their A to Z Gurantee.
