This is a beautiful table, created with solid high end parts. However, one of the table legs had a factory defect in the leg stand that would not allow it to lock in place. I do’t want to return it, as it is quite heavy, and other than that it is a very quality product. I will most likely attempt to repair the defect myself. This is probably a one off issue, so I do recommend purchasing. It’s easy up, and easy down and will fit in RV basement compartments with ease. Keep in mind it will be heavier than a plastic table set, but it is also much classier!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I thought a wood bench and table would hold up better than plastic and look better Build quality: This item is absolute JUNK!! the folding legs are so flimsy and the quality of the manufacturing is terrible. The locking mechanism for the legs in theory should work great but NOT THE CASE, all the connecting parts don't line up so it DOSN"T LOCK creating a hazard. I asked for a return which they authorized promptly then informed me I would be responsible for return shipping cost which considering the weight would be more than half the cost of the items. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR AWAY from this!!!!

So, first off, this is best for camping and/or entertaining and not necessarily intended as a permanent table or for serving large meals. I wanted a picnic table setup but I move a lot so this seemed to be a good compromise for easy storage/transport. Pros: - Arrived very quickly in a single box, already assembled (note that it is quite heavy in the box). - Wood finish (though not high-end). - Easy folding/locking mechanism (though somewhat primitive). - Looks fun, like something you'd see at Oktoberfest (but "not" a full dinner table). Cons: - **False advertising**...middle support on benches is off-set, not in the exact middle as advertised in the picture. The way it folds, there is no way it could be in the middle in the first place....It still provides added support to the side but may not be as aesthetically pleasing to some. - Wood was slightly dented/scratched being packed tightly together in a box...packing foam could have prevented this. - Locking mechanism works well on some, not as well on others. - By virtue of it being thin and relatively light, table/benches are of course not as stable as a permanent set but good for temporary use.

This is REAL wood. It smells nicely of pine. The wood is treated to be weather resistant which will be nice if we leave it outside overnight in the rain. Very sturdy. No sharp edges. I can fit 8 of my grandchildren (2-12yrs) at the table. What I love the most is that the legs of the benches and table collapse and lock for safety to pack in the corner of my dining room until the next time we have a large gathering.

Arrived with scratches, peeling table top, screws hanging out the bottom, bench legs mounted crooked so the braces would not latch in place without being forced and now won't unlatch. Seems pretty sturdy but construction is bad, and subpar finish on tops.
