  • Fresh orange juice anyone
The media could not be loaded. This is my first full review of any major product so bear with me. First - what prompted me to write a review is the quality of the result - freshly squeezed tasty orange juice with little to no waste. Secondly - easy use and cleanup. Truly! So I’ve been on a recent fresh orange juice kick. I always drink store sold orange juice and lots of it. But recently found store bought products are not as refreshing and tasty. Sometimes there’s an aftertaste or it’s tarty or too sweet. So I’ve been buying fresh oranges and eating it or squeezing it manually with those manual juicers. Result, one can’t really eat that many oranges to fill the thirst, secondly those manual juicers have a lot of waste and need a lot of patience and strength to use. Both of which I lack. And bottled or carton juices settle and expire when not consumed right away. So I’ve been looking for a juicer and finally stumbled on this Vinci Citrus Juicer. What I like most about it: Easy to use. Very little parts to assemble and disassemble. Easy to clean. No sharp parts to worry about. Small kitchen footprint. Easy to use - open, add the halved orange and close. Efficient. More juice less waste. Affordable. And most importantly- you get fresh tasty Orange Juice for a fraction of the cost and you know it’s fresh and clean compared to store machines! Cons: The lid can fall on your fingers if not positioned fully open. It won’t cut your finger but it can hurt! So make sure to open the lid completely and close completely to use. Don’t keep it half way. There is noise. It’s louder on the video as my phone was right next to it as I took the video. The noise is there but not annoying or enough to wake anyone sleeping. On the video I posted, I’ve already juiced 1/2 of an orange and working on the other half to juice. You can see how much juice it took out from it. There are some pulp left on the strainer as shown on the photo, but if you like pulp - you can just manually scoop and add it to your juice glass, if not, there’s only a little bit of liquid left in them anyway to worry about being wasteful. Before it took me 4 whole oranges to manually squeeze and or eat to get the thirst and craving satisfied. Now, around 2 oranges I’m done with my drink. So more oranges for later. Oranges in the fridge just waiting to be cut in half and then you get Freshly squeezed orange juice! All in all, I’m happy! I hope the machine lasts a long time. Cheers to your health everyone! ... show more

  • Makes juicing so easy!
While this was a little larger than I expected, I don’t know why anyone would ever want another juicer. This makes juicing so simple. Cut the orange in half, put on tje spinner, close the lid and push a button. The juicer does all the work, saving my hands, wrists and shoulders. I have arthritis so it was hard to hold down, push and twist the fruit using other juicers. This juicer is easy to use and easy to clean. I no longer dread making fresh orange juice. My daughter likes it as she has carpal tunnel but can easily switch out the strainer from my low pulp strainer to her more pulp strainer. We each get the fresh juice we want with the right amount of pulp. ... show more

  • My third juicer. Finally one I love!
I tried 2 other electric juicers. I make my own electrolyte drink with fresh lime daily. Hand presses are exhausting and limes are notoriously hard to juice. The first juicer was in the $30 range and involved manually pressing the cut fruit against a rotating core. Worked great though it was loud and still a lot of work. The problem was, I couldn't get little bits of citrus out from in between the plastic pulp catcher housing despite spraying, scrubbing, poking with a knife. I ignored it for a bit but it was really freaking me out. I finally fatally pried both halves of the housing apart and found tons of (disgusting) old dried pulp that was stuck in there. GROSS!!!!! There was no way to put it back together. Second juicer was in the $60 range and involved a lever arm which pressed the citrus against a rotating core. But there was no way to remove the lever arm mechanism to wash the presser part which was covered with juice by the end. Also gross. Then I found this Vinci which seemed like a ton of money to spend on a juicer. But I was running out of options. This is the juicer of my dreams. It's super fun to use and genius. The rotating core pushes up against the lid when you press the juice button. It gets all the liquid out of those resistant limes. All parts that come in contact with fruit are removable and washable. There are no "hidden" bits or areas unreachable. The noise is a quarter of the volume of the other two juicers. I can't comment on longevity, I just got it. I can tell you it is the best of all I've tried and so far, is worth the $$$. Happy Juicing All. ... show more

  • A game-changer that pays for itself
The media could not be loaded. I grow my own citrus trees and typically have to pick and preserve a large quantity of grapefruits very quickly when freezing weather hits the South. I usually squeeze as much as I can and often end up disposing if quite a lot because I can't get to it fast enough. I also have arthritis, which is rough on my hands. So I got this to help me put up juice in the freezer. It is nothing short of AMAZING. You simply cut the fruit in half, stick it on the reamer and push a button. Voila! Cleanup is super easy, just rinse and wipe down. It's much quieter than expected. I juiced a bunch of grapefruits while sitting down and watching a movie with my husband. It reams the fruit clean, squeezing out every drop, and only takes seconds to do it. It has 2 different filters, a regular and a fine to filter pulp. The only thing I think could be better is for a bit finer mesh to get rid of more pulp. But you can easily strain it through mesh or cheesecloth if you truly want zero pulp. Some of my grapefruits were enormous, so I just sliced off a bit of the half, which flattened it and helped it fit the juicer better. This juicer paid for itself in just one sitting. ... show more
