The Leila tall shaft boot has a modern vintage vibe. With soft almond toe and a stacked 2.75 in heel, this sleek boot also have a inside zip on its 15 in high shaft with elastic goring for improved fit and comfort. For the wide shaft version, the circumference has additional 1.18 inches added. The boot is fabric lined with a padded sock and is finished on the exterior with a leather covered welt and rubber outsole. Available in lux leathers, silky suede, and a unique degrade chocolate brown, who knows if you will be able to pick only one.

It's nice to find a comfortable pair of leather boots without spike heels and pointed toes. I have several Vince Camuto buttery soft leather booties that I treasure. Unfortunately this is not that foot-hugging, soft, buttery leather. In fact, the first pair I received had a rather large tear on top of the foot exposing a very thin layer of leather, like a bonded leather, on something that makes the toe box stiff. I'm 5'3" 105 lbs. and these come up a bit too high. The standard width is quite wide at the top even with jeans tucked in. They're so wide they will likely slouch over time and be fine. I normally wear a 7.5 in shoes and sandals worn barefoot, and an 8 to accommodate socks in boots for warmth and padding. The 8 fit perfectly. The boot was very wide (way too roomy to look cute) and the leather shaft was far too long for my legs and hit my knee so it looked and felt awkward. The boots are beautiful. Unfortunately, they were uncomfortable to stand in, too tight on top of my foot and they did not fit my calf. My calf is 18 inches. I purchased the extra wide calf 8.5 boot and it was too tight. Looked odd to me.

I really love these boots, however after only a couple months of wearing them they are starting to show signs of wear. There are threads coming out and some black is coming off the front toe.
