I purchased these after having to wear heels that are made for playtime out in the real world (and almost broke my ankle trying to walk in shoes that aren’t meant for walking), as I had ruined my nice little versatile black bootie previously. I figured these had a nice price point and they weren’t too flashy, looked sleek and understated in fact, and based on the reviews I bought them. I’m so glad I did! They fit perfect with no socks right out of the box, and I was able to wear them also with a low cut sock since it was cold out and there was no noticeable dip in comfort level (these weren’t thick wool socks or anything but you get it), and they were quite comfortable with a sock as well.     • Love These Shoes - BUT - Don't Trust Size on the Box, Check Size on the Shoes

I purchased a first pair of these in a 9, they fit perfectly and I love them. Since I wear them quite often, I purchased a second pair in the same size 9. Recently, I put on the second pair since the first pair was being reheeled, and even though they felt a little tight, I wore them since I was running late. Long story short, I later looked at the size on the bottom of the second pair and each is a size 8, not a 9, even though the box states they are a size 9. And since it is long past any 'try them for a week' window and they have been worn, I will not attempt to return. The lesson here is to check the size on the shoes before wearing and don't simply trust the size on the box - so, I took off one star for that. ... show more
