First, this stools are beautiful! Very well made! Gorgeous industrial/rustic look! But, I'm soooo sad I have to return them! I bought them for a counter height bar. The description says they start at 26.7 inches, but the lowest I could get them to go was 27.5....and that was taking out the pin out, which then made them unsturdy. So...if they were the right height, they would easily get 5 stars. Also one more thing to note, my counter has a lip. If it weren't for that they probably would work for counter height. ... show more

Hate to say it but these are a 2 star at best. I’m using on a small patio and they work for that uprise because for the most part they’ll be in the storage closet. Here’s the rub...quality is mediocre at best. If I didn’t have the hips of a 12 year old boy, I would be afraid to sit on. Base is small so it lacks stability and uneven. The metal is thin so I don’t think it will hold up long. The small size also makes it hard to rest feet as you would eat on a bar stool. The other thing not super excited about is the wood seat is a faux finish and unfortunately not a good one at that—contrasting brown and bright yellow. Sorry guys these are a dud. ... show more

I absolutely love these stools. They were super easy to assemble, they are really durable and pretty comfy. I love that you can adjust the height of the stools. I wish there were more options for the wood stain on the top, the cognac color does not match with my current stain. But - still a great stool and I love that it can go with farmhouse, industrial, modern or any type of style you're looking for. ... show more

The stools are attractive, but the screws holding the wooden seat base to the metal frame keep falling out. We finally had to use wood glue to keep them in place. The construction is not high quality.

    • I liked the look/design
I returned these stools. One was broken on arrival and they both had rough unsanded areas on the wooden seats. I didn't bother opening the second package of two. I liked the look/design, but they were not the quality I expected.

Two of the four stools we ordered the seats are crooked. They don't quite sit level even when at the lowest setting. It's not that noticeable unless you are a perfectionist like me. The quality is nice, and they arrived promptly. The price was a steal!! Crooked seat or not, I'd order more.

I built a small custom bar with our island and the bar width would only accommodate smaller stools at 15 1/2” wide so these are perfect width. I should have built the bar a little wider and then finding stools would have been easier. Lesson learned. Only drawback to the stools is how small the seats are. They dig into adults thighs so I rounded over the edges. I will probably make new wood seats soon because they’re just too small for adults. ... show more

These are okay and they look very nice, but the top is much smaller diameter than a regular seat. If you have a small space, these would work perfectly. If you are going for comfort, you will want to find something with a larger seat. Overall they look nice, just may not be quite as practical for everyday use. ... show more
