I’ve been playing competitively for over 40 years, own a couple of Meucci cues, a McDermott and some other premium cues and I have to say, the Valhalla gives them a run for their money! I have the VA232, and it’s actually THE straightest cue stick I own. The tip isn’t GREAT and I’ll be swapping it out soon. It’s just a tad softer than I prefer so I don’t get the power that I’m used to, but there’s really nothing WRONG with it either, so if you like that softer feel then you’ll love this tip. Finish is smooth and silky and nearly flawless. Love the shaft taper. It honestly feels like I’m playing with one of my $600+ cue sticks…it’s really THAT good. I expected it to be above average, knowing it’s QC’d by Viking, but it surpassed my expectations. Easily worth double or triple the price ($120 currently)!

Watched some product reviews on YouTube and this one was recommended by several pro pool players as punching way above its weight. I like it a lot (am hobby player) and having your own pool cue beats finding the one straight one in a Billard saloon. Good weight distribution, very smooth finish, like the 13 mm tip. Low deflection, great control. Would prefer it to be a tad shorter (am 5’10”), but that’s not on the cue. Wrap feels good, color and graphics are great, overall the YouTube pro’s made a great recommendation and this pool cue is a steal.

The cue came well packaged. I checked for straightness on a glass table. Very straight the finish is nice and the joint is very strong. The tip is soft and has a nice profile. Mine is 20 oz and the grip area is well done

The cue arrived straight and true. I ordered the 21 oz. Which I prefer. The fit of the two pieces is seamless. The cue is very well finished and smooth. The tip (13mm) is attached perfectly straight to the shaft and already shaped and textured to accept chalk immediately. I really like this cue a lot and at this price, I believe it to be a great value of quality. I would recommend this cue to anybody who plays pool.

Haven’t played much pool since college but just bought a new table to play with my sons and researched some decent stick brands and Viking was one of them. Bought this Valhalla, showed up today, looks and feels good but the tip popped off after the second break. Disappointing.
