I’ve been playing competitively for over 40 years, own a couple of Meucci cues, a McDermott and some other premium cues and I have to say, the Valhalla gives them a run for their money! I have the VA232, and it’s actually THE straightest cue stick I own. The tip isn’t GREAT and I’ll be swapping it out soon. It’s just a tad softer than I prefer so I don’t get the power that I’m used to, but there’s really nothing WRONG with it either, so if you like that softer feel then you’ll love this tip. Finish is smooth and silky and nearly flawless. Love the shaft taper. It honestly feels like I’m playing with one of my $600+ cue sticks…it’s really THAT good. I expected it to be above average, knowing it’s QC’d by Viking, but it surpassed my expectations. Easily worth double or triple the price ($120 currently)!

My cue arrived in good shape, excellent packaging. As to the cue it looks exactly as shown. I don’t think you could find a straighter stick at any price. Well balanced, great feel, plays well. If your looking for a cue that won’t break the bank but is high in quality I think the Valhalla line meets that.

My husband loves this pool stick. I won some serious brownie points getting this for him for Valentine’s Day. He loves the weight, perfect for him. He says it’s very durable and the lifetime warp guarantee is an extra bonus. We love the color, it turned out exactly like the picture, if not better. The Irish wrap gives it an amazing grip. He says he’s been very accurate with his shots, more so than the loaner pool sticks. It also didn’t break the bank compared to other more expensive sticks!

Cue arrived safely packaged. It was a decent starter cue. I managed to play above .500. However this cue does have a lot of deflection which cause me to miss plenty chip shots. I have since played using a Nebula 2 wrapless and won all my games thus far. Feels good to play at my natural ability. I’ve won 100% of my games since the upgrade. Again, this Viking cue was a great beginner stick.

Very surprising cue for the money. Full match to the Average Joe review on YouTube. The balance can be widely adjusted. The weights can be placed deep into the cue. Perfect fit and appearance. Everything looks and feels like a more expensive cue. Please go to the Viking web sight and read about Valhalla by Viking before you buy. Viking engineering and quality control on a Chinese manufactured cue. Keeps the cost down. Backed by warranty. If you get a defect return it for replacement. Register your cue at Viking. Viking offers upgrades shafts for Valhalla. I expect to put a techno dud tip on before to long and get pretty good play from this cue. If you order 21 oz cue you can reduce your play weight. It’s like getting a free weight kit. Cue hits and feels very good.
