The media could not be loaded. I'm at such a cross with this, this was my second attempt at buying one of these sticks I brought the Valhalla 200 and there was a scratch on the finish. Bought this as a replacement and I don't like the color it's a bit deeper of a red than I expected. I expected more of like a cherry red through blood Red to an almost burgundy red type pattern like the image it's much darker. Having said that I've never shot so well with a cue where I didn't have to change the tip. Literally one a 9-ball tournament with it on its first attempt no tip shaping, just chalk (taom) and original stickers attached, I'm an apa 4 I beat a 5, two 6's and a 7. I was eight for eight on my Banks 2 for 4 my kicks and only lost 1 game. Got my APA league Tuesday but usually tend to shoot a bit better with a newer stick but that was very impressive I might be stuck with this red stick lol Add: I could not get past the color I really like brighter colors and this one is very dark. I'm hooked on Viking sticks because of this but I will be getting one of their other colors. I did wish however you can choose on the specific sticks no rap as a lot of their more expensive sticks automatically come with a wrap even on their original website.

After seeing negative reviews about weight discrepancies i rushed to check my own cue the second the package arrived. There was an 18 oz sticker covering a 19 oz label so I weighed it and got 17.9 oz which is honestly ideal for me. The finish is darker than the pictures suggest but I knew that already. It's like a deep emerald color. The lacquer on the butt end is very grippable while staying smooth and the shaft glides nicely over my bridge hand without a glove. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

First thing - it's beautiful. Can't beat the stark beauty of a natural maple finish - and they got the stain perfect. Subtly darkened and no pink or green artifacts. The standard black collars and silver rings combine with the maple to form a most elegant instrument. On the functional side, the taper is very long and easily qualifies as the stated "pro taper" This particular stick is also a millimeter slimmer through the back end than my other Valhallas from a few years ago. That for me makes a more comfortable grip. I want to give this cue a 5 but the one I got has a slight wobble in the butt section. This is only detectable when it is spun separately and shouldn't affect shooting. The shaft itself is very straight and the assembled cue is well within visual tolerance. Can't fault the brand any.
