Greatly reduces that constant need for carpet vacuuming!!!! Never having cared for long-haired cats previously, I am amazed by the amount of “shedding” which continually occurs. its an ok slicker, the push button to remove hair works nicely. the metal pins are ok too. my prob is that its pretty big and awkward to use. i have a 20 lb fat ginger, more pillow than cat. a smaller width would work better on him, more streamlined.
