Some of the smells are a little weird but most are really good. I'm glad I got the variety packs so I could try them all. I'll probably reorder the sandalwood and sweet tobacco, maybe the oud too. Nice that they're small enough to slip in a pocket, and they're easy to apply. The waxy material has never melted in my pocket, but just rubbing your fingers on it is enough to get some out to apply. I'd say the smell lasts a couple hours, but its hard to tell because you get kind of nose blind to any cologne you put on yourself after a few minutes you just stop noticing it on yourself. Regardless, they're so small, easy to use, and cheap I don't mind reapplying a couple times.

Bought these as an option for me and my son. They smelled great. They are handy and fit in a pocket for travel. As with most solid colognes though the scents are very subtle when applied. They do work well just not like a spray cologne that will last all day these do need to be applied a little more frequently. The variety of scents is nice. The vanilla was my favorite with Tobacco a close second. For the price point id say this is a nice option for most.

They smell pretty good, the Vanilla one smells like a ice cream spilled in your body, that one is not that good, the issue with them is that the fragrance is really weak and will not last, also the creamy sensation in the skin is something to take under consideration.

This 4 scent variety is masculine, refreshing, and good. I am a fan of solid colognes, as they last longer than spray/aerosol. These aren't overly strong. However, one can easily carry a little tin and discreetly reapply. I do like these scents. They are one of the best values for solid colognes.

[Verbatim of another review for the same product, but for this scent pack. My review is the same. Due to VRs lack of QC/QA and it's production in China and lack of improvement of its product line] Unfortunately I cannot leave a good review for viking revolution products. I really wanted to like this product and solid cologne. I have used other solid cologne with great success however VR's product doesn't fit the snuff. 1) the wax base; is too thick & doesn't melt at all between the fingers. Leaves a sticky somewhat tacky residue when applied. (Other brands formulations of wax bases melt between the fingers and are easily applied) 2) Scents; although I love the scent profiles and they have a solid basis, the scents do not last as long compared to competitors like (the man brand, Fulton, duke cannon to name a few). 3) quality control; I'm not a fan of VRs lack of QC/QA, I found several of the eight scents I purchased to have inconsistent scent and wax bases. 4) Manufacturing; This one is the major defacto for this review and poor rating for product. All of viking revolution products apparently are manufactured in China. This cheap production of a low quality product is obviously seen not due to low cost but also due to the poor quality control and even poorer quality of the wax base. Unless VR not only addresses the wax base and scent concentration issues with this product I cannot change this review. Please shoppers be aware of what your getting for this low price. Although the scents themselves profile wise are amazing they lack depth, strength, and long lasting effect. 👎🏻👎🏻

This set came where some had melted out of the tins and solidified again, so a bit messy, but I imagine this happened in shipping. The other four pack didn't have this issue. The scents in these tins are fantastic. I'm allergic to so many fragrances, but because these aren't full of chemicals, that must be why I am fine with these. Not allergic to these at all, which is a big deal when I usually am super allergic to fragrances. The smell I got on my hands when opening this has stayed for over an hour and a half so far, even though I washed with soap. So I don't know why other reviews mention the scent being of very short duration. It is a very nice smell, so I don't mind at all. It will be no problem to reapply this if needed when wearing it, as it is so pleasant to open the tins and catch a fresh whiff. I just had to share some of these, even with the solidified spillage, because once they are smelled by other people, they want some. I am already second-guessing giving away the ones I did, though I still have many left, because I want them all. I enjoy all of the different types, and I will certainly be ordering the full sizes on most of them. I ordered the other four pack variety set as well, and all of the eight scents I have smelled are great. This is how you hope a purchase will go - that you get what you wanted, and it is as good or better than expected. These are better than anticipated. Very glad to try these, thank you.
